This update is a compilation list of stores that do NOT take pre-orders for the Playstation 2, check it out to see if you have any of these stores around your neighborhood, and if I missed one make sure to send it to me so I can continuously update this article. The stores are as follow:

Best-Buy - an employee from Best-Buy in Pittsburgh, PA told us that they are expecting a huge line and suggested to be there at 5am.
Wal-Mart - open 24 hours
K-Mart
Big K-Mart

Target - we have received an email from an employee at Target telling us that they will be getting 40 units.
Nobody Beats The Wiz
Circuit City
Sears
Comp USA
PC Richard's & Son

These are so far the stores that I know of, please don't hesitate to send in those extra stores that didn't make the list. Remember that this is a list of large chain stores so don't forget the neighborhood stores that maybe your friend's father Jim owns, you know what I mean. Also I did forget to mention that many Wal-Mart stores remain open 24 hours a day (thanks to an e-mail I got today), I suggest doing the following; head down to your Wal-Mart at late night on the 25th to check up on them and if they don't get it at night, come back to 5am, enter their store find somewhere to sit down, don't forget to bring some sandwiches and then wait as they bring it the PS2s, also ask where they will display the system so you accidentally don't go somewhere else. Hope this helps, as the days go by I will try to update this list.
