We have a time window for the new Crazy Taxi title, finally! The trailer was shown at this year’s XBOX Games Showcase, part of what’s been an extremely busy games news week and weekend for the games side of the industry as a whole. Considering State of Play early last week, Summer Games Fest and a considerable number of presentations that has covered loads of interesting titles in a rather short amount of time starting a few short days ago. A lot of the titles mentioned will be releasing in September and October for reasons I can’t begin to imagine, as I glance disbelievingly at a specific date in November.
Anyhow, there isn’t a whole lot to say about it just yet, it’s the first proper footage of the title, but it looks very Crazy Taxi thus far! If you remember being in an arcade in the late 90s to early oughts, you know exactly what that means, and you’re hearing The Offspring in your head right now. Also if you watched or are watching the trailer as you read this, but that’s besides the point. There’s no proper date quite yet, just a general 2027 time window, but that just means plenty of time to get prepared for this trip, yes?
