As much as fans hoped, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, while yes, there are remakes in the works, aren’t going to be releasing any time soon. This comes following the successful Oblivion Remastered from last year, the second season of the Fallout TV show, and the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct.
Windows Central, though, has come to put the kibosh on those hoping the games are right around the corner. The outlet has confirmed that neither of the remakes are “imminent.” But, they are happening.
Odds are once they are close to release, Bethesda will drop Fallout 3 first followed by Fallout: New Vegas. We’re also under the assumption that the remakes will be built in Unreal Engine 5, akin to Oblivion Remastered.
