This is a walkthrough and sort of a S rank guide for Armored Core 3: Silent Line. I will tell you how to beat missions, find some parts (I'll try and find all of them...), and give near flawless set-ups for S ranking every mission. I wrote this guide for mainly helping with the harder missions. I strongly suggest you play through AC3 and getting all the parts in that game and up load (AKA convert) your data to AC3sl. Not only will you have a supped AC right from the start, the games has the same engine as AC3 so you will be used to the controls and everything will be second nature. If you don't have AC3, go out and rent it. Then beat the game and both arenas. Then buy as many weapons as possible. If you need to know controls, open that thing called an instruction manual. *If* you aren't loading up, skip to the Arena part of this guide. This will help you get started. S Rank Tips... Aww S ranks. The whole point, mainly, to get S ranks is to unlock a super secret weapon. Too bad this weapon just happens to be a under par 6 round burst handgun... Any ways, S ranks are gotten by being good. They are not that hard to get, if you do enough trail and error, but I will still point you in the right direction. S ranks are determined by a couple of things; 1 The amount of damage you take 2 The amount of money you gain (lowers if you get a lot of deductions) 3 The amount of time it takes you to complete the mission 4 The amount of enemies you killed 5 How many times you recharge your energy gauge 6 Accuracy 7 No consorts The main set up you can use for basic and easy missions is just a plain Karasawa design. First off, the mission briefings and rewards. Then I will tell you strait forward how to beat it. If it is a hard mission I will give you a set up for it. Then after all that I will give you the set up I used for it. Then I will list the hidden parts for that mission and a set if needed for it. By the way, I will be making a lot of references to the other AC games for who played them (it helps sometimes...). One more important thing. You may notice I use Ven, Rex, Ner, and Rve a lot. Those are just my choices most of the time. If you are better with Quads, go for it. I mainly use Ven for the map and features, Rex for good blading (I love the swing and 120 energy supply), Ner since it's lightweight, and the Rve for a low drain leg. Oh yeah, if you can't get some of the parts I mention, just use crappier ones. I mainly put together AC sets ups for hidden parts and S ranks, as the game isn't too too hard. Want some tips? -Always save before every mission. -Use energy weapons at first so you can get a lot of credits. -Some missions have alt. Mission at the end of them. I would recommend you have a fully loaded AC before taking these. -Heat weapons only really work in the arena. -Missiles are a great way to run your money into a hole. -Read my guide and get lots of sleep. -Even with a perfect setup, you still need to have some talent. -If you have trouble with regular enemies, look at the enemy section. -Triple Missiles and the 36-ammo relation combo rapes most AC in missions (including the giant ones, but not the final boss). -USE a laser blade for ALL mission your first time through. I assume you have the heaviest blade you can carry and that you have one in the first place. -When I say quickly referring to a hidden part, it means there is a time limit. -When I say finish with high AP, that means there is a limit to that too. You have to kill a Reverse joint MT at the end. The mission is broken up into three blocks (A, B, and C). After you kill every enemy, a new block is opened... The number in "()" is the remaining enemies' percent. In the very first room, you'll find your first enemies, 3 very little MT's (76.9%). Kill them and then go into the newly unlocked B block. B block contains 4 more of the same MTs (46.1%). Once you kill them, head back to A block and fly up to the ledge and enter. The follow the hallway to the end to C block. Then kill 4 more of those MTs then kill the RJ mt. Done (00.0%). S rank... This level should not give you any trouble S ranking it. Just don't take too much damage. Hidden Parts... * MWG-SRFX/70 (Right arm sniper rifle) Just finish the mission really quickly. You should get this with a S rank. Trust me, it's easy. "Good day Raven, we are interested in retaining your services as an escort aboard one of our company TRANSPORTS during its next voyage." "The transport is a specially designed submarine put into operation when shipping valuable cargo. Its current payload consists of mined resources vital to our corporation's future." "We've had no problem transporting materials using this method in the past, but given the importance of the cargo on this trip, we'd like a Raven along as added insurance." "Keep watch over the transport and be prepared to counter any outside INTERFERANCE. Make sure the cargo reaches its intended destination." Walkthrough... Ok this mission is strait forward. You need to kill all the enemies on the ship and prevent major generator damage. This is still an easy mission. First off, you can totally cheese on this mission. If you don't leave the doorways when you open them, the enemies will not shoot at you. The number in "()" are remaining enemies' percent. Any ways back to the level. The first room has 6 little quad MTs take them out (64.7%). The second room has a little think in the middle, with 6 more MTs around it, kill these the same way (29.4%). Then just kill 5 of those RJ MTs in the next room to end the level (00.0%). I suppose that big sub can make you fail the mission or something, but I never let it happen and it isn't really a threat. (I killed all but one MT and stood on its head for a couple minutes and knowing happened) S rank... This mission is another simple one to S rank, just kill with that basic AC I listed up there before and don't lose too many gens. Hidden Parts... ******* CAL-33-ROD (Arms) This is about one of the hardest parts to get in the game, in my opinion. You must basically finish the mission with no generators destroyed (All thought I think they let you slide with one or two.) But you can still cheese it. First I told you how you can kill enemies without them moving right? Well if you equip orbits on your right shoulder, you can kill almost all the enemies without them seeing you. You can kill 3 free MTs in the first room this way. Then boost out to the middle and kill the other 3 and make sure they hit you and not the gens. You can kill 3 in the next room and 1 extra one if you use orbits. Then hurry and kill the rest, this room isn't that much harder than the last one. In the last room you can kill 1, then 3 more with the orbits. That least one left behind the wall. It shouldn't be hard to kill. Use this Set up. This mission takes place in the same place you seen a couple times in AC3, only this time it is all broken done. This is a pretty simple mission. This mission just has about 16 RJ MTs to kill. The number in "()" are the remaining enemies' percent. Ok right from the start, hurry up and kill the two RJ MTs, as they can hit you where you stand (75.0%). Then turn in the street and kill another three of them in the tight place (37.5%). Then you'll get to a larger area and have to kill three more in the wide open (50.0%). Then head through the big door, you must wait till the other door shuts to use the next one. Then right when the door opens, kill two more of them (37.5%). Then turn to the left of where you came out of the door and go down the street with all the fallen bridges. There should be three more down there (18.7%). Then just go to the end of the level and kill three more, very simple (00.0%). S rank... This mission is another simple one to S rank, just kill with that basic AC I listed up there before. Just make sure you dodge a lot of the rockets and watch out for them right when they pop out from corners... Hidden Parts... ** CWG-HGB-80 (Right arm assault hand gun) I'm not sure 100% on this one, but just beat the mission very fast and don't get hit a lot, you should get this if you S rank it. This mission takes place in a tunnel also featured in AC3. This mission is pretty fun and is sort of like "Attack Urban Area" in AC1. You must blow up cars to get the attention of the security forces. There is two outcomes to this, an easy and a hard. Easy: Kill only some of the cars that drive by and you'll get 6 Security MTs. This is really easy for just a mission. Harder: You can kill a lot of cars and have the Raven "Shooting Star/King Fisher" appear. He's not that hard, he's only the second worst in the arena. In this level you can easily take him out with anything besides missiles. S rank... This mission is another simple one to S rank, just kill with that basic AC I listed up there before. Hell I got the S rank on my first try on it... Make sure you blade all the MTs for an easy victory. Hidden Parts... * CAW-SDBZ-108 (Bazooka arms) I'm pretty sure all you have to do is finish the mission fast and kill a lot of cars. Just make sure you get the AC fight. "Mirage is the dominant corporate power in the sector at the moment, but only because they seized control while our attention was focused on other matters." This mission is a giant remake of a classic mission from AC1moa. Your guys VS more of their guys. First of MAKE SURE you have the VEN radar head equipped, has not only does it let you use your radar, it will get rid of that annoying beeping noise. You have 9 green tanks and they have more desert camo tanks and 3 RJ MTs. If you remember "Disperse Gathering" the level is the same. The tanks are not nearly as strong as you would think and are pretty easy. I recommend using a light weight's arms/legs so your blade can hit them. Any ways this mission is strait forward kill all the enemies. By the way, +100Cr for a save and -1500Cr is you kill any of them. S rank... This mission is another simple one to S rank, just kill with that basic AC I listed up there before. Just make sure you don't kill too many of your own guys. Hidden Parts... ****** MWG-MGL/300 (Left armed Machine gun) Oh baby, will you hate tanks after this mission. You must beat this mission without any of your tank friends chunking. Make sure you are using your favorite one hit to kill tanks weapon and the VEN head. Make sure you also hurry to the middle of the level where they gang up on one tank. "Members of our intelligence network recently learned of A CREST plan to send a Raven into LAYERED HUB. We believe they are after information concerning the Silent Line." "It's unknown whether any information can be retrieved from the Controller's data banks, but we're not willing to take the chance that there is, and leave Crest to reap the rewards." "This mission has two objectives: The first is to DESTROY THE RAVEN EMPLOYED by Crest, the second is to retrieve any information that may still reside on the controller's data banks." "Our reconnaissance team will handle the data retrieval, your job is to take out the Raven." Walkthrough... Remember the last mission in AC3? Well this is second half of it in ruins. You start of in the elevator. After it goes down about half way, Ori/Moon Salt pops out of the door and attacks you. He is a Biped with two laser rifles and back boosters. Since you are in a very tight spot and he hard lands all the time, Rockets, Blades, and any hard hitting weapon works. I would try and take him out with a blade (like a moonlight). He only has about 1/3 of his full AP in the first place. After you kill him, Cypress/Bypass (From AC3, who wanted the controller preserved...) will be waiting at the top. If you forgot who Cypress was, he was the OPI, dual chain gun, hand gun and green laser blade using AC on the MAK hover legs. He was also a noob killer :) . Any ways he's isn't that hard in this area, as he gets caught on many things. But just to play it safe, run all the ways back to the controllers core and try and stay on the opposite side as him and pop out and shoot him. After a little while Gold Bit/Clover Knight will fall through some glass and want a piece of you. If you are still in that room she most likely will not come in. Then finish Cypress and kill Gold bit, she is a very low rank Raven with a Laser rifle just like Moon Salts'. S rank... *** This level, once you know how to kill everyone, is still not that hard to S rank. This will be one of those missions where it will push your Karasawa skills if you're using it. Just make sure you kill Moon Salt with a couple Moonlight Slashes. Hidden Parts... CWG-HGB-90 (Right arm assault hand gun) *** To get this part, finish the mission really fast. Use the same design as the S rank if you really need help. MWGG-HML-18 (Left arm missile launcher) **** Oh baby, now for some fun! To get this part, you much finish the mission with a lot of your AP left. It isn't that hard, but use this design if you are having trouble and use my little strat. Head Ven Core Ner Arms Gale Legs Rve Booster Fleet FCS Roa Generator Roz Radiator Cr10 Inside --- Extension R/36 Back Unit R Tr90-1 Back Unit L --- Arm Unit R Mg-500 Arm Unit L Moonlight Op Parts Scr's, Stab, L/trn, and E-lap First off, Kill Moon Salt with just your blade. If you get hit too much, just start over. It should take about 3 - 4 hits, but after the third hit, just use some of the machine gun. You should now drop your Moonlight. Then run to the back room, Over boost if you need to. Then just shoot the hell out of Cypress and don't get close to him. His hand gun will do little damage to you. After about 300 rounds he should die. If you were lucky, Gold bit wouldn't of came in yet. Lure her in then and turn on your extensions and start shooting her with volleys of 5 missiles. It shouldn't take more than 5 good hits to kill her. "Given the difficult nature of this mission, hiring a Raven was the obvious choice. Don't let us down." Walkthrough... This mission is a dozie... First off, taking the extra mission after you protect the air planes in "Accompany Air Transports" first gets this mission. I'm pretty sure you have to do it quick and kill everything. Any ways, this mission takes place in the Desert that was in AC3 (also the place where you fight the Massive MT). Ok so what makes this mission so hard? Well not only is there tons of enemies and you must fight and kill Corpse Maker/Health Taker at the end, but half the level you are in a sand storm. This doesn't screw up your FCS the whole time, but it makes it go on and off. Make sure you have a AC with a strong one hit weapon, so you don't have to keep relocking to your target again and again. Once you start, try and hug the one mountain so the Mobile Mts don't flank you. They are fast and very hard to see. If you have something strong like a bazooka or Karasawa they will die in one hit. Other then them there are Heavy MTs what are also hard to see, but since they are slow, you can either snipe them or blade them... Once the sand storm stops, just finish up the rest of the enemies. Then prepare to fight a AC. You SHOULD practice fighting him in the arena before you even think about doing this mission. Trust me, he is the hardest guy in my opinion in the whole game! But he has one VERY VERY VERY VERY big flaw... He's only got no AMS of his core which means you can go to town on him with missiles. Once he is dead, the mission ends. Using RADAR with a "ECM counter" will eliminate all of the FCS problems. The Sphere is a good choice. S rank... I personally S ranked this mission my first time. It is a little hard though, so use this set up. Then turn on your extensions and fire missiles like crazy! You can easily kill him with missiles without getting hit, just make sure you know how to dodge his multi missiles (which isn't that hard...) Remember, if you are having trouble you can always cheese it with the sphere. Hidden Parts... MLM-XA3/LW (Humanoid legs) **** A lot of people need help on this part, but it's really not that hard. To get this part you must beat the mission with a lot of AP left (like half) any ways... use this set up. Walkthrough... This mission takes place inside of a building and is one of the hardest missions in the game, in my opinion. First off, the Raven (Eclair/Nikita) that is with you sucks and is only in the end, so don't plan on mooching of him. Next, I would strong suggest you use a well armored AC and have at least the 30 pack of small rockets. Ok this is also a long mission, very hard to S rank and has 4 hidden parts in it. (At this point I assume you are using Rockets and a Moonlight) First go down the long hallway (ignore the nook in the wall as it does nothing) and hit the panel to open the door (Blade it to save ammo). Then go strait through the next room and open another door, then proceed down the next hallway and open another door. But before you open this door, arm your rockets. Once you enter try and boost and hit the panel with a rocket to lessen the damage from those annoying pods. Don't bother killing them since they keep coming back. *_A secret part can be gotten by shooting a vent in the ceiling_*, but I will mention that later. Then go down the next hall way and open another sealed door. Once you get their lock on to one of the things behind the door (it's a gun battery) and shoot, then kill the 2 patrol MTs with your blade. If you want to kill these flawlessly, turn side ways and over boost while hold in the side step button then they will miss. After you kill them just break another door panel and make your way across another hallway. Go in side the door (again with a panel) and hit the switch. *_A secret part can be gotten to the side of this door if you keep going_*, but I will also mention that later. Now go back to the first room you have to make a choice to go different places. (The room where I said "Then go strait through the next room and open another door") Any ways, go up the steps to the top, and get ready to kill 2 more patrol MTs with your blade, Over boost if you need to get behind them. Then go in the only openable door you can in a little hallway, and slash the lock again... After you open the door a cut scene will go off. Hurry up in this part! If you have the ROA FCS on, hurry and aim up and kill the gun, then slash the MT, then arm your rockets, slash the other patrol MT and shoot the lock with a rocket before it explodes and get out of there. Just for fun, turn around and see why I told you to hurry. After that go down a hallway and break another panel. DO NOT GO IN THERE YET! Stay in the door way and aim your rockets at the little panels on the walls. There is 6 in the whole room and you can break about 5 of them from the door way and cheese this part. Why you ask I tell you not to go in? Well, there is these big pink lasers in the room that kill you a lot! Well once you get in, hurry and shoot the other 2 but don't go just yet... MAKE SURE there is not a pink laser sideways in front of the door. If you don't heed that warning, you can lose about 2000 AP. (If you still don't know what to hit, if you have the VEN head on, hit select and it will say target) Ok then go down another little hallway and hit another lock. Then go in the door. When inside a little room again with those green pod MTs and they keep respawning. You must wait a little while before you can get out. (Apparently he must do the same has you just did in the pink laser room) Any ways, when that is done, just exit the room. If you have ANY rapid fire weapon, such has a machine gun or a chain gun, use work of it. A side ways FCS can help. Hehe, think the mission is over yet? Nah, you get to fight an AC at the end, YAY! He has a mini Karasawa (it's weak) and orbits. If you are slow, your partner will come out and help. You don't have to kill it, since you got rockets (Hope you got mids) you can just shoot the mainframe and end the mission, but you can get something for killing that AC... S rank... This S rank is VERY hard to get. First off here is some very important tips. -Don't not get hit by ANY lasers. -Don't take the short cut through the ceiling. -When in the rooms with the Pod MTs, kill them before they can shoot you. -You can skip killing the AC, but with the Triple Missiles\R/36 combo you can whipe him out before you back up even comes. -Blade all the patrol MTs. Follow the walk through from one there, but this is the AC I used. Then fly up through it and then shoot at the box. (If you still can find out, look to the first set of asterisk [- -> * {that thing}]) MWG-GS/80 (Right arm energy shot gun) *** Now where I put the second set of "*"'s you'll find a hallway to go down. In side the hallway is a bunch of boxes. You must make you way to the back of the room. Just make sure you have the Radar OP part that lets you see missiles, or the VEN head so you can avoid them. S rank... Same old thing you did for all the other missions. Hidden Parts... MWG-DKP/100 (Right arm dual energy weapon) * Beat the mission fast, that's it, very easy. This is a basic protect mission. But the odd part is, is that I don't even think you can even fail due to something getting destroyed. Any ways this is then just a basic eliminate mission. The mission starts off with three split MTs. Stay on top of the middle and kill all the top halves, then blade all, it shouldn't be hard as they focus all their attention on the building. Then after about three more of them, your contact will say "Raven, We've detected additional targets." This means that 3 RJ MTs came, so kill them. Then every thing repeats again... If you have any guns left over, they gain control of them and use them against you. S rank... Use the same old S rank build as before, just try to kill the RJ models before they kill you turrets. Hidden Parts... CWG-ARF-120 (Right arm assault rifle) ** Beat the mission high AP, and don't let the base take that much damage. This isn't hard at all; you should be able to get this with a S rank. If you really want to get this part, just use your favorite machine gun and don't take bull from and thing. CWG-SRFL-50 (Left arm sniper rifle) * Beat the first wave of enemies really fast. This is VERY easy and should be accomplish your very first time through the level. Before you start this mission, make sure you have a pretty good radiator (Kd99 is good) and some good firepower for the little surprise at the end. Start by going forward, and down an elevator. Go strait and kill the ceiling gun, then turn left. Keep going strait until you hit a door, kill two more guns on the way. Go inside the door then kill the two guard MTs. After you kill them hit the switch. Exit the door then take your first left. Go through the hallway (killing yet another gun) and head to the door. Kill the one RJ MT in there and blow up any boxes that are in the way of the control panel. Once you do that, boost forward and quickly hit it one. This will but the sprinklers on and stop you from burning (If you have Groa, Kd99, and Clpu you should not over heat at all). Now back from the starting elevator go strait until you hit a door at the bottom of a ramp. This room just as one RJ and nothing else. Just do the same as before. Once you are done with that, while heading back take a left and open that door. This hallway contains two guns and two guard MTs. Go in the fixed door and hit the control panel. *_This room contains a vent to the secret part, in the corner_*. After you hit the third switch a message will pop up telling you to return. Go back to the beginning and watch a sweet cut scene. It is a giant AC. No you can't get his gun. It is slow but has a lot of health. It has weak missiles, a grenade launcher, and a plasma gun that shoots about 5 times, but he needs to stand still. Keep going strait until you hit a door, kill two more guns on the way (80.0%). Go inside the door then kill the two guard MTs (66.6%). After you kill them hit the switch. Exit the door then take your first left. Go through the hallway (killing yet another gun) and head to the door (59.9%). If this happens, run up to it and hit circle to get it off. This mission does require some speed but is not that hard. S rank... This level is cake to get a S rank on, just do the same has all the other easy levels. Hidden Parts... CWG-BZ-80 (Right arm bazooka) * Just beat the mission with no condenser destroyed. Walkthrough... This mission takes place in that O so great forest. The idea is to protect your three mortar MTs. This mission is a cake walk. All there is, is Mobile hovering MTs. The best way to tackle down this mission is to Over boost behind them and shot while the charge in the opposite way. You won't miss nor get hit at all. They come in sets of three and that's it. If you have a light weight AC it is possible to beat this mission with just a blade, as they just keep going forward and never turn to fight. If you do not like to blade, get yourself a long range weapon. Then constantly side step facing north. You will never miss a shot, since they are always coming south. S rank... The Karasawa just makes this mission oh so easy to S rank. Just shoot the first one in front and flank the other two. Hidden Parts... KWC-HZ120 (Back unit howitzer) *** To get this part-o-crap you need to beat the mission with VERY high AP and really fast. Just use the S rank tip or build a low drain AC (with RJ legs) with missiles and just fly above everything, you shouldn't get hit. MWG-XCD/70 (Right arm laser rifle) * Just keep all your mortars MTs alive, you should be able to get this part on your first try with no work so ever. "The objective of this mission is to launch an assault on FORTRESS VG- 924, a soon to be completed CREST stronghold." "Early intelligence reports indicate, that when the fortress is finish, it will function independent of human control." "At this time, the facility is operating at only partial capacity. Current defense measures consist of round-the-check surveillance patrol conducted by UNMANNED HELICOPTERS." "Take care not to be discovered before reaching the fortress. Proceed with caution." Walkthrough... This mission is broken into two (or three parts) and is actually easy if you know what to do. Ok I will break this mission into 2 parts. The first part is a stealth mission (YAY!). Right before you even start this mission, EQUIP the 60 shot sniper rifle (MWG-SRF/60). You are in a cliff area, and there is helicopters flying around everywhere. They have little spot lights that can make you fail the whole mission if you don't kill them fast enough after they spot you. The reason for the Sniper rifle is to kill them in one hit from afar. At the end of the level you are going to have to risk it and peak in between two mountains. Did you ever wonder way the radar just didn't see you? Well don't fly ;) The second place is a lot easier since there is now stealth is required at all. First off you get all you ammo/dropped parts/AP back. Once you start, go around the outside of the fortress and kill all the guns. Once you do that, focus your attention on the mortar MTs. If you have blade (Moonlight or higher) they will die with a ground hit. These things are cake to blade. After you kill about 8 to 12 of them (they come in packs off four) you will get prompted to do another mission, it's your choice. S rank... This has to be the easiest S rank to get in the whole game. If you don't take the extra mission you will probably get a S rank. Just use the strategy up there. Hidden Parts... MWEM-R/36 (Extension relation missiles) *** Found in a little cave in the canyon. Just kill all the helicopters and look around, it is not that hard to find. I would Strongly recommend getting this part, it is a key factor to getting S ranks and some parts using this guide. MWG-SBZ/48 (Right arm spread bazooka) ******** Beat the first part as fast as you can without killing anything. I tried this once with killing things (I didn't get spotted still) and didn't get the part. Make sure you make a lightweight on Hueso and remember to save before you try it (you have to go REALLY fast). This is also the last part I got for some reason, I'm telling you, you have to actually go REALLY fast! (Rumors say you might need a head without mapping and radar... just use the "ATE" head just to be safe) By the way, you will most likely have to try this mission, over and over again. CLB-LS-3771 (Left arm laser blade) ***** You must first accept the second (really third) part of the mission. When they ask you to take the mission, go inside the door and you will automatically start another mission. You must beat this mission with Very high AP. First off, this can be taken as an extra mission from the mission walkthrough above. Next you get a consort, Carom/Firebird, will you at no cost. This is just a two on two battle versus... Mileage/Venom, a RJ AC with a sniper rifle. 7th Heaven/Utopia, a Tank with a machine gun and a slug gun. The battle goes like this, you start on one side, they start on another. You want to take out the slow tank first. If you have a moonlight, or any other blade, you can kill him so easily. After he/she is out of the way, try and get Carom and Mileage to go at it and then back stab mileage. The arena you fight in also has these little pillars sticking out of the ground. By shooting the middle of them, you can make the outer heat of the arena go up. If you shoot way to many, you will keep losing damage if you have a weal radiator. This isn't a great idea to do, since Carom uses Heat weapons any ways and it not only lowers your AP but you lose 1500Cr for each one. S rank... Use the tactic up top and just kill the AC's as soon as possible. Make sure you don't hit any pillars. Oh yeah, don't get hit by 7th Heaven's slug gun, it hurts, so if you blade make sure you flank. If you been around Armored Core since the beginning, this mission will be familiar by now. This is a basic protect mission, and it is an easy one. You have to wait for a plane to settle down and (magically) refuel. Well before it even comes down, you must destroy fight jets that come in groups of three. They are not that hard. Hell you can even wait in a building and wait in there until the plane comes down. Once you see the plane touch ground, new enemies will come and show them selves. These are little MTs on one wheel. They actually get caught up a lot on your friendly gun turrets. They pose little threat to you, just don't go out of your way to blade them, as they will get more hits on your plane if you miss. Oh yeah, try not to destroy there equipment, has they hate that. S rank... Same old way to get the S rank, not hard. Just don't on the planes and to avoid missing those high speed MTs only shot them when they are going toward you. Hidden Parts... CWGG-GRSL-20 (Left arm grenade rifle) ** About where the plane lands, there it some storage sheds. Open one of them and look for the part in the middle of it. CWG-ARF-180 (Right arm assault rifle) * No, Never, Nope, I am not telling you how to get this part. I will just tell you in the part you get a Radar, Back ward booster, and Head this way. And I'll tell you if you get this part you fail the mission. MWG-HGBL-90 (Left arm assault hand gun) ** You get this part by destroying a lot of enemies (37 I believe). This part shouldn't be hard if you do the mission the right way. Just kill everything you see, and don't care about you, but just kill. Use the 1000 shot machine gun and don't let go. MWG-DKP/90 (Right arm dual pulse rifle) ** Don't let the air craft take a lot of damage. In fact, you can easily do this and the above parts thing all in once. Just do the mission how it is intended. "All other Mirage-operated facilities in the region rely on this plant for their energy needs and will go offline if Crest's attack succeeds." "Total loss of power at any of these facilities, even for a brief amount of time, would leave them vulnerable to subsequent attacks and render years of research worthless." "We must avoid this eventuality at all costs. Take up POSITION at the plant and prevent its destruction. Credits will be deducted from your reward to cover any damage repair costs." Walkthrough... This mission is a very long one. It's not that this mission is that hard per say, but it just is long and growling. Ok, to start of with take a heavily armed AC with both guns and armor (MG-1000 is a nice choice) You start on a little building. You must fight waves of three at a time spilt MTs. Just stay on top until all of the MTs are dropped and all of the top halves are dead. Then peak off the top (if you have a strong one hit weapon) and peek a boo shot them. If you don't go down and kill them any way you want. Just don't kill any solar collectors. After about 6 to 9 spilt MTS it's over. If you go slow the mission ends right there. But if you go fast another part of the mission opens up for you. (I'm pretty sure you must do this to get the S rank, so I'm going to cover it, so don't go slow on purpose.) So, when you do go fast, the door opens and you must go in it. Once you go down a elevator there is a lot of way to go. Well I'm only going to show you the fastest way. First once you are off the elevator, dash strait (all the way) and make a right. Go inside the door and kill the RJ MT and go out of the door. Keep following the hallway (killing two guns in the first part of it) when you get to a choice, take a another right and follow that hallway. When you get to the door, Aim up and shoot right when you open it, there should be two guns on the top and 2 RJ MTs in the room. Kill them and head out. Now keep following the hallway, you should now be going down a ramp. Once down turn right again, killing the gun. Now this next room is just like the last 2 two big ones combined; Same 4 enemies but in one of those long rooms, do the same then head out. Once you go out, then there will be a cut scene with a Heavy MT retreating. Follow it and kill him to finish the mission. S rank... First just let me tell you, for some odd reason, this was the hardest and last S rank I have gotten. What do you need to know? Kill things fast, and go the right way down below. Want a set up? KWEL-EJ22 (Missile disruption extension) **** Remember the last room? Well right before it go left instead of right. Then you'll open a door. The door explodes. Kill everything inside of it. Then look on the ground in the back. You'll probably overheat. CWC-CNG-500 (Back unit chain gun) *** Beat the mission fast, cake. MWG-XCDL/80 (Left arm dual laser rifle) **** Beat the mission with everything destroyed. But do this without destroying any other thing, including solar panels and those little containers inside. Use a strong weapon for inside, actually use that same strat for the S rank, only use... Use that head for Radar. The number in "()" is the % of the enemies left. Go quick in the first part and kill them all FAST! (79.3%). Once you go down a elevator there is a lot of way to go. Door in the first door and kill a RJ MT (75.8%). Then go down the hallway outside this room that's on fire and run all the way down. Kill 2 guns, then turn, kill 2 more guns and a RJ MT and then head back to the elevator again (58.6%). First once you are back in front of the elevator, dash strait (all the way) and make a right. Go inside the door and kill the RJ MT and go out of the door (55.1%). Keep following the hallway (killing two guns in the first part of it) when you get to a choice, take a another right and follow that hallway (48.2%). When you get to the door, Aim up and shoot right when you open it, there should be two guns on the top and 2 RJ MTs in the room, kill them and head out (34.4%). Now keep following the hallway, you should now be going down a ramp. Once down it turn left and go through the door (it should explode for you, this is the same room with the secret part "KWEL-EJ22") any ways kill the two guns and the RJ (24.1%). Now go the other door killing the gun (20.6%). Now this next room is just like the last 2 two big ones combined; Same 4 enemies but in one of those long rooms, do the same then head out (06.8%). Once you go out, then there will be a cut scene with a Heavy MT retreating. Follow it (while killing the gun) and kill him to finish the mission (00.0%). If you remember that one mission from AC2aa where you have to destroy the train, this one should be a lot easier. You start in a tunnel and have to follow a train type thing and kill it. Want to know the best part? It has low AP and the whole thing takes damage as a whole. Make sure you have a very fast AC (I don't think a tank would be a great Idea...) and have a strong weapon. If you attack the back, and gun will pop out and then you can kill it, but just stay in front of it if you can (By over boosting). By the way, this is a very fun mission. Rockets can be your friend in this mission. If you are having any trouble, use one of these... Dual Flame-throwers Hecho larger rockets and/or triple rockets Laser Blades/Parrying Blades Any type of Spread bazooka arms. Want a whole set up? To bad :) IF you don't feel like trying, Buy the Petal hover legs and the machine gun weapon arms. Just boost and use its alt. fire. Try and get in front of it. You should get an S rank and a secret part this way. S rank... This is an extremely easy level to S rank, I think you can do this one without me helping. If you really need help, just use the MOONLIGHT and try and kill those gun turrets by dashing with a machine gun. Hidden Parts... CWI-FMHS-30 (Mobile floating mine insides) ******** When the train turns at the inter section, go the opposite way. Behind the barricade lays the part. (I just never would have looked there if I didn't know there was a hidden part in the mission) I would recommend hiring a consort (rodeo) for getting this part. Bring the COTTOS large rockets (or HECTOS and a FINGER and this should be cake) I'm pretty sure you need to do this mission solo, so try it without a consort. This mission is an unique to say at least. The whole point of this mission is to stop the missile from reaching the air port control center. The missiles are VERY fast and VERY small. First off, to make you life easier, take point on the control center. Take a long range weapon with you and a fast AC. The idea is to shot them before they explode. If you wait to long they will turn into a very strong multi warhead. Don't worry about the gun turrets, they work only as buying time. If the control center says they are taking tons of damage, put yourself in front of the missiles so they hit you instead. S rank... This mission is hard to S rank. But it is a lot easier to do if you know how to work things Use this AC, and it will make your life easier. This mission is a very strait forward one. Destroy an AC, that's it. His name is Death Grip/Longspear. Treat him just as any other AC, only with a bazooka. Other than him, there is helicopters flying around also trying to kill you. The only other handicap you have, is that you can't let solar panels get blow up since it costs you money. If you still have trouble with Longspear, Take a OB core, and a machine gun. Overboost past him and shoot him because it takes a while for him to turn around. If you want another way, use a low drain core (RJs are nice) with a long FCS and Dual sniper rifles. His bazooka will not touch you if you stay far away. Missiles will also be a good/fast choice. S rank... This is a fairly difficult mission to S rank. But the game lets you slide a lot with ammo costs and such. What you want to do is use something strong (Triple missiles + r/36) and keep him on the middle mound. This helps because it speeds it up. Second of all this is the BEST mission. Ok lets start over, this is one the hardest missions in the game! First off, you need a balanced AC for this mission. That means no tanks but heavy weapons... I would recommend taking a machine gun and some other strong weapon (Howitzer, Grenade launcher, missiles...) Ok this mission takes place on a military base. This base is filled with bridges and missiles! So here's the deal, you have to protect the base from MTs. This level has a bunch of new aerial combat MTs, with test your aiming skills, and have two spots where RJ MT's respawn. There is also a re-supply truck so you can get your AP back. So what's is so hard about this mission? "Cannon Bursts imminent" You know what that means? Big, powerful satellite bursts could down and try and kill you! You know why I said this mission IS the MISSION? Because just about everything can get destroyed, bridges, missiles, and a YOU! These rays deal about 2500-3000 damage per hit to you. Yes it is that strong. Before they strike, a red beam will come down, then will explode into a blue, bigger, beam in under a second. You want to know something even worst? They keep coming everywhere and can hit you out of the air. So what do you need to do to keep alive? Don't fly for one, it is a lot easier to avoid them by dashing. After you kill enough MTs your old pal Big White returns (Seen in the Plant level). When he comes, your contact should say something about a target approaching. Remember when I told you to take heavy weapons? Well this is why. By the way, the cannons stop right when he comes, FROM wouldn't want any thing happening to Big White. HINT!!!!! This has been pointed out to me by MANY people. There are three re-supply trucks in this level. Each refills your AP and ammo. They will take time to do and you will be untouchable when doing so. I do not know if this hurts or helps your S rank chances. I don't know if this helps getting any secret parts either. S rank... Ok this is a VERY hard mission in the first place to beat, and S ranking it is no picnic either. I killed the final AC with just triple missile with relations like always. But for the before part, use the Karasawa for everything else. You shouldn't use a Blade, or anything else you don't absolutely need. If a cannon laser nukes you, you may as well over boost out of bounds. If you have a EO core, hide under a bridge and over heat your self. Make sure you take a weapon you don't have to worry about, if the Karasawa makes you look at your energy gauge a lot, take a solid gun. If you still have trouble, use the strat for the last secret part of the mission down below. Hidden Parts... CWEM-RT16 (Torpedo relation missiles) * When the cannon destroys the center missiles, look inside of it and find your part. MWC-LQ/80 (Laser cannon back unit) ***** Just beat the mission really quick and kill about 12 enemies. Not as hard as you think, just go fast and kill kill kill! Use this AC if you need help. The vertical FCS's are so you can pay attention to the ground more. Shoot when ever you get a lock. Once all the MT's are destroyed, drop the machine gun and load the missiles on Big White. Stay far away from him and keep your shield up. If a beam hits you, just quit. "We suspect the riot was instigated by one of the other corporations in the hopes of using the chaos it has created to carry out a mission against our interests." "ONE GROUP OF RIOTERS in particular have already informed us of their demands. They claim that if these are not met, they'll retaliate by leveling A BUILDING." "The district has experienced rapid population growth in recent years and if the rioter's plans were to succeed, the loss of life would be horrific." "Also, a number of our most important backers reside in the district. We must do everything in our power to insure their safety and well- being. We're counting on you Raven." Walkthrough... This mission takes place in and around a giant building. It is just a eliminate mission. There is three levels of this building that you can go on. The number in "()" is the remaining enemies' percent. You start this mission on an outside elevator. It starts going up on itself so take your time and rest, enjoy the view! But not for too long since you have a four minute time limit. In the first room kill the high end MT first. After he is dead, kill the two patrol MTs with your blade. Then go out the door and ride the switch at the corner of the elevator (66.6%). Ok turn around and go in the door. There is just three patrol MTs in this room. Blade and kill all of them. If you don't want to take a hit, Over boost to one end of the room and them flank all of them. The door is to the side this time. Just go outside again and hit the switch on the corner of the elevator (33.3%). The next room is the hardest. It has three high end MTs in it. Once you kill them an AC named Struggle comes out of the other door. She comes out and has a napalm howitzer and heat rifle I believe. Just keep dashing and try not to get caught up on any pillars. I takes six big grenades to kill her (00.0%). S rank... You can still use the basic S rank AC for this mission. Just boost up to the doors before the elevators get there to save a lot of time. Oh yeah, blade the patrol MTs once with the moonlight to save a lot of time. Hidden Parts... KWI-RJ/60 (Radar disruption pods) ** On the third floor just look inside of a box, it is in the first one you see (I think) just leave one high end MT left to search. KWG-ARFL150 (Left arm assault rifle) ** I don't even see how this is hard... There is a timer for this mission, just beat the mission fast. I think you have about 2:30 to beat the mission, but it is easy. Just boost up elevators to save time. So equip accordingly. Next, this mission is indoors. This level is big and the first half as many different parts to it (both ways and actual AC parts). So look at the walkthrough at the bottom part if you want a FULL walk through with every enemy (This one is only the fastest way) Ok you start in a little room. Go strait forward through two doors. Once outside the door kill the Flying patrol MT. Then go through the next set of double doors to the left and kill two more security MTs. Then in the next chasm room go in and kill two more flying MTs and go in the door in the side, hit the switch to open a door. Then go in the newly opened door. Watch one here, in this pipe hallway there is 2 flying mts, kill them. The room through the next door has two more security MTs and continue to the next floor by going up the elevator. Once on the elevator follow the pipe hallway. The next room has 4 new Red Pod MTs in it. Just kill them (they are really easy to kill), but the control panel is under water, so you must drain it, so go in the door with the pipes coming out of it, not the one when they are going by it. The next pipe pit room has two flying patrol MTs flying about, kill them and move on. Now this pipe room has 3 security MTs so take them out and head down the hallway, hit the switch and go back to the room with the water in it. Now hit the switch and go in the only other door left and kill the last security MT. Now ride the elevator up to the top and go in the door. This is the final hallway and kill the last 4 guns and go through. If you do this mission fast you can accept another mission (the one after this) and get another secret part. S rank... First use this AC Head VEN Core RAY Arms GALE Legs 066 Booster GULL FCS ROA or ROA2 Generator ROZ Radiator CR10 Inside --- Extension --- Back Unit R --- Back Unit L --- Arm Unit R KARASAWA Arm Unit L SS/8638 Op Parts SCREENS, STAB, TRN, E++, RTE, AND CE -When the mission starts, just keep going fast -Do every from there on the same way has before. -When you get to the elevator, fly up it to save time. -When in long pipe ways, over boost. -When you are in a pipe way, with 3 MTS when one is exploding jump and kill the others. -You don't need a shield, but it can help. -Remember where the panels are. -Don't accept the extra mission Hidden Parts... MWG-KPL/150 (Left arm pulse rifle) **** Keep going strait, and fall down the biggest pit. It is at the bottom of the pit. If you need help getting there I'll mention it in the next hidden part location. MWGG-HRL-32 (Left arm rockets) *** Ok this part is gotten if you go everywhere and kill every enemy. Ok the number in "()" are the Remnants of Enemies percent. Ok you start in a little room. Go strait forward through two doors. Once outside the door kill the Flying patrol MT (96.6%). Keep going strait, through another hallway, then once in the next "pipe" room, kill the next two flying patrol MTs (89.9%). Then go through the door strait ahead and kill the security MT and go in the door and hit the switch to open a door ahead (86.6%). Then go in the next room, from the door you unlocked. Kill the one Flying patrol MT and start to decent down the big chasm, killing two more Flying MTs on the way, then a security MT on the bottom, a secret part (MWG-KPL/150) is also on the bottom (73.3%). Then head back to the first room with the pipes and pits (this is easy if you have the Ven head's mapping). Then go through the next set of double doors and kill two more security MTs (66.6%). Then in the next chasm room go in and kill two more flying MTs and go in the door in the side, hit the switch to open a door (59.9%). Then go in the newly opened door. Watch one here, in this pipe hallway there is 2 flying mts, kill them (53.3%). The room through the next door has two more security MTs and continue to the next floor by going up the elevator (46.6%). Once on the elevator follow the pipe hallway. The next room has 4 new Red Pod MTs in it. Just kill them (they are really easy to kill), but the control panel is under water, so you must drain it, so go in the door with the pipes coming out of it, not the one when they are going by it (33.3%). The next pipe pit room has two flying patrol MTs flying about, kill them and move on (26.6%). Now this pipe room has 3 security MTs so take them out and head down the hallway, hit the switch and go back to the room with the water in it (16.6%). Now hit the switch and go in the only other door left and kill the last security MT (13.3%). Now ride the elevator up to the top and go in the door. This is the final hallway and kill the last 4 guns and go through (00.0%). CWR-COTTOS (Back unit rockets) ****** You must accept the second part of the mission, by going really fast. Then if beat the second mission before the things you are meant to save are still alive (also by going fast) you get the part. I will tell you how to beat it fast in that mission's walkthrough and S rank. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Eliminate Bio Weapon *** Requester: Kisaragi Advance: 0 Upon Success: 33000 Briefing... "Raven, an emergency situation is unfolding at VILIUS LABORATORY. The scientists working there lost control of A BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS experiment and now it's on the loose." "OUR SCIENTISTS, along with THEIR SECURITY detail, radioed headquarters to inform is that they were attempting to evacuate the facility, that was the last we heard from them." "Removing the threat posed by the biological weapon is your top priority, but should you encounter our employees, help them as best you can." "We plan to send reinforcements to help bring the situation under control, but it will be some time before they reach the lab. You'll be on your own until then." Walkthrough... If you taken this has an extra mission, this mission takes place in the same area as the last one. In this mission, you must kill two biological weapons. Make sure you have a head with a Bio sensor on it, so you can lock onto the Bio weapons. I would take a strong one shot weapon for all the little pods and a vertical FCS to get to them faster (so you don't have to worry about them blowing up before they go). I strong suggest taking a moonlight with you. The number in "()" are the remaining enemies' percent. You start off in a little room. Go out and kill the Red pod MTS (83.3% this is assuming you went into the secret room). After you kill them go in the next room by way of hallway. There is more Pods for you to kill in this room, you can however skip them with out any fear (66.6%). Go down another hallway and you'll be in a room similar to the first room, and with three pods, kill them (54.1%). Again go down another hallway and into the second glass room, do the same has before (37.5%). Now keep going and you'll run into your first Bio weapon. There is about seven MT pods in the room, kill them first. First off, it looks like a slug/rollie pollie, It is in the center of the room and can't move, only turn. Want a good tip? NEVER STAND NEXT TO HIS FACE! This thing can and will kill you in one hit. If you have a moonlight, you will only take heat damage, as I will tell you later. You can shoot the Bio weapon in his little hole (on its face) this will do a lot more damage than attacking his armored sides, but is more risky. When you go to his side, he will discharge heat. So choose your method of killing. I would kill him with a blade on the side for safety has if you slip in front, you can die instantly. If you kill him fast enough, you can get a shot at the second Bio weapon and the COTTOS secret part if you took this mission as a bonus (23.3%). Once you see the cut seen for the second bio weapon, head back out to the beginning of the level. You actually have to go back to the part where you have to drain the water from the first mission. In that area you'll find the bio weapon with some more pods. Kill the pods and the Bio weapon from long range, and then the mission is over (00.0%). S rank... Ok first off use this design. Once that is over with, just shoot everything around the second bio weapon and itself from were you step in the room, you'll be surprised to how little health they have if you hit their little hole. If you are going for the hidden part "COTTOS" skip all the pods that aren't in rooms with Bio weapons. Hidden Parts... KWB-SBR44 (POS parrying blade) **** In the first room, look for cracks in the walls. Blow them up and follow them in and find the part in the rooms. There is two of these rooms in total. If you still have trouble just use a Machine gun and shoot all the walls. But there is one twist; There is two other Acs in this room with you. They also play dirty and try and kill you. So there is two ways to beat this mission I'm not sure which is better but what ever way you choose to do it you get a different part. Refer to the parts for a more in depth approach to this mission. You can either kill the Acs or just shoot targets. S rank... Getting the S rank takes more patience. This way you must just shoot targets and get the best results. So you want to know how to do it? Hidden Parts... MWG-MG/700H (Right arm machine gun) *** To do the mission IMO the easier way (if you aren't passive) is to kill both Acs and finish off the targets with out any trouble. Don't worry, this is a one on one on one. So they attack each other as well. You are up against Carom/Firebird (Lots of heat) and Diligent/Timetable (Lost of missiles) so if you need help on them, you can practice on them in the arena. Other than that, take a moonlight (Or the next strongest blade) so you can rip them to pieces from behind. Just make sure you don't focus on the targets until you kill them all, but DON'T TAKE TO LONG, since they do attack the targets even when they are after you. By the way, this strategy isn't really cheap, because they attack you first. MAH-SS/VV (Heavy weight arms) **** Get this part takes more patience. This way you must just shoot targets and get the best results. I'm sure you must get about 50 targets to get this part. So you want to know how to do it? This another one of those levels with tons of stuff in them. This level is very long and as a lot of enemies in it. Make sure you either are VERY good with a light weight if you plan on taking one. I recommend at least a mid. This mission is packed with sentry, flying patrol, and high end MTs and they are every where. You can blow up ammo racks too, and they give extra credits. Just make sure you have a blade for this level, since that Ammo car doesn't really follow you that fast and chances are you'll forget all about him. The number in "()" are the remaining enemies' percent. I usually don't give out a set up for just a walkthrough but use something like this (I'm assuming you are) Head Ven Core Any Eo core Arms Light weight arms Legs A quad that can hold all this Booster Fleet FCS Roa Generator Roz Radiator Cr10 Inside --- Extension --- Back Unit R Your favorite chain gun (the light weight one is IFFY) Back Unit L Grenade launcher (if you DON'T like quads, use X3 missiles) Arm Unit R A machine gun over 800 ammo Arm Unit L Your favorite non sol blade (Use a shield if you like using energy EO) Op Parts Your choice Ok you start next your ammo car, go through the door (hit circle in the middle lol) and follow the hallway. Now in the next room kill the first sentry MT out side of the cage, after that, kill the two inside the cage, you can hit them through the cage with a blade, thus a free kill, and I will call it that from now on (92.5%). There is four ammo selves in this room also so now you know what they look like. Now turn to where you see a flying patrol MT, you can free kill him too when he's close with an air blade (89.9). Now go down farther and "free kill" as many as the flying MTs as you can, you can get all three if you do it right (82.4%). *_In this same room there is a hidden part, more on that later_* Now again, in the next room, try and free kill both of the flying patrol MTs (77.4%). Now in the next room you will see 4 high end MTs, these are what will make your AC wear down. Try and free kill as many as possible, but they can break through them themselves. Either way, try and blade them, use the chain gun one them if you can't get to them (67.4%). Now go around the corner and kill another High end Mt and break through the gates (64.9%). Now play peek a boo with all three sentry MTs and watch out for the high ender at the end of the hallway (54.9%). Now in the next room there is a bunch of flying patrol MTs. Try to resist shooting them and wait till they position themselves for a free kill, you'll probably need to just regular kill the first one (42.4%). Now go down the new hallway through the two doors and fall down the hole. Stand on the vents and size up your attack. Now drop down and kill them all, target the high end then the sentries (34.2%). Now go in the door and kill the three sentries and exit (25.0%). The next room should have a giant pain of glass in it. You should be scared since you have to fight all of them! Nah, just kidding, ignore them and go forward. Now you'll be in a room just like the last one, three sentries must be killed, you can probably kill the first one with a blade (17.4%). Now you should be in the second fan room. Kill the two flying patrol MTs and head down (12.5%). Now once down, kill the three high end MTs and don't let go of your chain gun (05.0%). Now through next hallway is one more high end (02.5%). Now the only other thing between you and your goal is a bunch of other hallways and another high end (00.0%). Now did you wonder why I told you to take a grenade launcher? Well it's for the AC at the end. It has one of those new dual pulse rifles. There not hard, but this mission should of whore you down. Use you heavy weapons and Eo on it. After it dies Another one will come out. You can kill it, but since this is your first time, wait a bit then you little ammo car guy with open the door. Go through it (MAKE SURE THAT AC DOESN'T FOLLOW YOU!) Then destroy the prototype, it should take one moonlight slash. BTW if you killed every thing I told you to, you get another ~+41500Cr S rank... This level is definitely one of the hard to S rank. You must kill as many enemies as you can. I would kill at least one (maybe two) Acs. Use the free kill method at all times and with this set up you can kill to MTs at once with the halberd. In this mission you have to protect your transports from being killed. So what is so different from this mission than every other flying escort mission? You start in the plane and the doors don't open all the way! The first have of this mission is spend in a plane with very small space to look through. Supposedly this is because of an electromagnetic storm. Well all you have to do if kill things, simple... The second part of the mission is when the doors open and you clear the storm. This part is easier but now you can fall off, so don't. If you go quick in this mission, you'll get offered a bonus mission. Avoid this mission! I'm sure there is no point and it brings you to the mission, "Ambush Area Archive." S rank... Use the basic karasawa AC, but you can drop the moonlight and use lighter parts. Double lock and one shot kill everything (X2 locking is done when you hold something in your FCS for a little while). One more thing, you should (should say must) kill every enemy. That means you will get the bonus mission, but don't take it! Hidden Parts... MCH-MX/GROA (OB core) ***** You must kill all the enemies, about 25, very quickly. This is easily gotten with a S rank or in most cases (mine) S rank attempts. "Our scientist are hard at work refining what could be a revolutionary breakthrough in GENERATOR enhancement. We'd like you to participate in the next round of test." "The technology is still at an early stage of development, but the prospects are encouraging. What AC pilot wouldn't enjoy expanded generator capacity and reduced energy consumption?" "Should research efforts pan out as we expect them to, the breakthrough would open avenues in AC DEVELOPMENT previously thought to be unattainable." First off, before you read any further, I suggest playing this mission without a walkthrough, it's fun and unique. But if you need help read down below| / | / | / | / | / | V OK, this is supposed to be a generator test mission. I would suggest taking a light weight, low drain AC with at least one strong weapon (COTTOS will be perfect). I also suggest having a high ammo machine gun or a sniper rifle. In the first half (Actually quarter MUHAHAHA!) you have to dodge missiles. Just fly to another plane for this part. You have 50 seconds to dodge them, so use decoys, EMCs, or anti missile extensions. After you dodge them for that time, you'll have to now take them out. These are just power suits and are easily killed. Now want to know the part I didn't want to ruin on you? After you kill all of them, enemies ambush your planes and you must protect them. There will be a bunch of aerial MTs, they are easy this time around since they fly right to you. Once you kill them... Armored Core 3 Silent Line's Massive Muscular Tracer comes out! Any ways, this one is pretty weak. First off, it can really move. It has very well armored sides, so try and hit the back or front of it. It can launch tons of vertical missiles out (like most Massive MTs) In the front of it, the little guns on the bottom are dual machine guns while the big gun is a grenade launcher. If you brought large rockets (Hectos or Cottos) you can stay way back and fire. Oh yeah, you can stand on top of him. S rank... Follow the hidden guide for the WAKE, and that will most likely get you a S rank. Except, don't waste time trying to snipe any MTs, instead go closer so you don't lose points on accuracy. Hidden Parts... MWB-MX/WAKE (Back unit back booster) Remember that whole ordeal about the generators in the briefing? Well here's how to get it. The whole idea is to dodge missiles in the first part and kill the giant MT at the end. First off use this set up. Over boost to the Southeast corner. Land on the plane and get some energy back and fly just about where you leave the area. Keep flying there until the time is up. Don't be afraid, the missiles won't be able to reach you. (You can just land on the plane that is the lowest, but I like flying.) 2. Once the time is over, snipe all the power suits, if you land on the lower plane they will be above you and make larger targets. 3. Now once the smaller MTs appear you must kill them very quickly so the giant MT will come. Use the missile with relations for one that are far away as it will likely kill them with one lock. If they are close, use two rifle rounds. 4. Once the giant MT appears, use the rockets and finish the mission. Explore as much of the satellite as you can, sixty percent should be sufficient for our needs. Work quickly and exercise caution." Walkthrough... This mission can be easy or hard. But since you come back here and it's fun, I'll show you the hard way so you won't just lose interest. (BTW, In the S rank part I'll cover the easy, short way.) I also want you to get the full effect of the level because 3 parts can be gotten like this. First off, here's what you need to start off with. -Lightweight arms/legs to hit the low to the ground MTs (Moonlight is the best choice.) -Possibly a head with good mapping function. -A good memory if you don't use the map. -Even though I mention you to kill MTs, if you are slow it's better to just skip the wall guns. -Oh yeah, you need speed. -Jump in the middle of big rooms to get credit for the whole map. Ok you start the mission looking at your consort, then you gain control. The idea of this mission is to search this mission as much as possible. So every time you are in a new room fly up to the top so you get credit for searching it. So go strait and to the left. Follow the hallway in a room, I will call this room "Doughnut Core 1 [D]" From this room, you come out of Door [1]. You can see Doors [2], [3], and [4]. Door [4] is the only one that is unlocked so go through it. In this hall way [There is glass in this room] there is 3 Converter MTs, kill them with your blade, Two normally but only 1 when they are open (93.3%). Now you emerge from door [1] of doughnut core 2. Door [2] has a pretty switch in it, DO NOT HIT IT yet. This will start a timer for the satellite to lock up. This does unlock doors, but you could go in door [DC2-3] first. So head there. Now in this hallway kill two guns and head out (89.9). The next room you go into I will call "C room 1" [C1] then take out the converter MT and process (87.9%). Then go in another small room (jump in the middle) and kill the converter (86.0%). This next room is huge. In it two more converter MTs and 4 ceiling guns (74.0%). Make sure you fly everywhere in this room to explore all of it. By now you went to about 50% of the level. Now head back to [DC2]. When inside the core hit the switch in door 2. Once you hit it pause the game if you are playing and reading at the same time. Once you hit this, a timer will start in some time. So if you come back here, make sure you it from now on. The time starts at 6:30. Go back to the [DC1] and go in the door strait across from the one you pop out of [DC1-2]. Now when in the door, a converter should be hiding in a little nook, and there is 4 nice wall guns for you to kill (63.9%). The next room is big and you should fly a bit in it like all the times before. Before you get to fly kill the converter and the 4 ball MTs (53.9%). Now go through the door and you'll be in a small room with just two ceiling guns (50.0%). Now in this next hallway, charge and kill all the ball MT, and hand a right and go in the door, kill the converter and hit the switch, Kill some more guns and another converter and leave (35.9%). The next room is another one you should jump in to get the map. Kill a few more balls and exit to the second C room (28.0%). Now keep going through the C room, in the next room, kill more balls and keep going through the doors. There is more guns up top and a unopenable door (15.9%). Now head back to the [DC1] and go in door 3 [DC1-3]. Go down the hallway and kill 6 guns, stopping at the last door, go in it and kill the converters (00.0%). Head out and go in the next door, with the gate over it (This door is unlocked through the other room). Once inside it, look one and shoot out the vent. Once you go up it you SHOULD get a message from Emma saying you explored the whole place (should, if you followed everything right). *_This vent is suppose to lead you to a secret part, but more on that later_* Now you have to exit the spaceship, go back to the beginning. If you did every thing there, the next three secret parts should be easily gotten. S rank... What to know the fast way? Move your way all the way to DC2. Hit the switch and run back to the beginning. Just don't miss or get hit too much. Hidden Parts... KWG-NHZL60 (Left arm napalm howitzer) **** Look at the map at the letter V, go there, or find the place at the end of the walkthrough marked off with asterisks. You must travel through a vent. Once you fall down, break open boxes. OP-EO-LAP (Optional part) *** Beat the mission with a head with no map, and just to be safe don't push select. Oh when I said beat the mission, that means get to message from Emma saying you can go back. If you are unsure, print out that map and get a happy marker and make a trail. CWM-HA30-4 (Back unit Hi act missile) ****** Again explore the whole map before Emma tells you to hurry up. That would be at 2:00 (So you got 4:30 to do everything). Make sure you explore everything possible before you hit the switch. Ignore gun turrets also. Boost side ways across the little nooks. Over boost in all C rooms and long hallways especially with ramps. Oh yeah, use a light weight if you want things easier and just follow that map. You can get all these parts in one go. I would take a fast weapon for this mission. In fact, if you take a MG-800 or 1000 you can finish the mission with just those (I would still take back up weapons). The level starts off with you on a roof top. You must protect it. There is aerial combat MTs and helicopters. You can actually ignore the MTs, but the helicopters try and land and will blow up the whole roof. Once you hear Emma say ones landed, hurry and kill it. After you kill bunch of helicopters the roof will cave in. You'll now be inside the building. Two Acs will be dropped in, Prominence/ and Apophis/Cobra. One use dual flame throwers and the other use a bunch of pods. None are really a threat nor have high AP. Take which ever one you want first. S rank... The same S rank AC setup will work here as it did before. Just kill Water Hazard first, since, if you don't get stuck on anything, the flamer throwers should never touch you, where as those pods are hard to dodge 100%. Hidden Parts...
