Canadian version of Final Fantasy IX shipped without English booklet.
Today, Square Electronic Arts announced a slip-up in the shipment of Final Fantasy IX to Canada. The error involved the instruction booklets of the red-hot games, as Square shipped the instruction books only in French, as opposed to the company's plan of shipping the title with a version of the booklet in English as well. The linguistic error is to be rectified by Square, as upcoming shipments of the popular RPG are to feature the English instruction booklet shrink-wrapped to the front of the package. If gamers are dissatisfied with their original copy, they can pick up a replacement by asking for the updated package at a local retailer.
