Deuce gets the noose.

It was recently learned that Midway, the third party developer that was to handle the creation of Deuce, has canceled that action-platformer for the Sony PlayStation. In the game, players would have controlled (you guessed it) Deuce, who corresponds to the two of hearts in a world whose citizenry are cards from the familiar playing deck. Players would have guided Deuce through his quest to save his friends from the evil Jack of Spades. The reason for the unique title being nixed is murky at best, as Midway was not available to comment on the game's cancellation. Had the game not run into problems, it would have dropped in December.
