InterAct introduces PSOne Pro Shock Mini Arcade Stick.

InterAct Accessories has recently announced the development of the Pro Shock Mini Arcade Stick. The PSOne peripheral aims to duplicate the arcade experience in the home.

"A market has opened for products that can play off the portable nature of the PSOne," commented Dean Stoyer, Director of Marketing for InterAct Accessories. "The Pro Shock Mini Arcade Stick allows gamers to receive that arcade like feel while on the go with their PSOne."

The mentioned accessory is to boast eight arcade-style action buttons and an eight-way arcade joystick. In keeping with its focus on realism, the Pro Shock also features a force feedback system. The stick is compatible with both the PSOne and PS2, and boasts special auto-fire and slow-motion functions as well.

The Pro Shock Mini Arcade Stick is to hit retailers in January, when it will carry an MSRP of US$29.99. After all the commotion surrounding this peripheral, I'm just glad that we haven't heard anything regarding the infamous "Amateur Shock Mini Arcade Stick." Boy, if that doozie hit the markets, 'Pros' everywhere would have fits...
