EA confirms publishing deal with Capcom.
Electronic Arts and Capcom, two of the most influential companies in the videogaming industry, have forged a publishing agreement affecting the distribution of games on the European continent. Under the terms of the partnership, Capcom's upcoming PS2 games will be distributed by the third party giant, starting with the awaited Street Fighter EX3, to be released in Europe on March 3. The hot-selling Onimusha: Warlords, which has shipped a staggering 860,000 copies to Japan, will also be released by EA when the game drops in Europe in June.
