Tony Hawk 3 confirmed for PS2.

It seems as if all the rumors about Tony Hawk on PS2 are completely true. Today Activision has confirmed that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 will be released on Playstation 2. This was listed in today's financial release as well as games Mat Hoffman 2, Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer and Shawn Palmer's Pro Boarder Cross. Activision's very first non-Xtreme game will be Orphen which is an RPG based title and will be released alongside the PS2 or shortly after the release. Activision plans to release 12 (count 'em twelve) PS2 titles sooner or later. We know that Tony Hawk 3, Mat Hoffman 2, Kelly Slater, Shawn Palmer, Street Lethal, GunSlinger and Orphen will make up the majority of the twelve games, but here is what I think the other five titles could be:

   Sequel to Spider Man

   Quake III: Arena

   Star Treak: Invasion 2

   Tenchu 3

   Alundra 3

Along with these announcements, Activision officials explained that the company is looking forward to support all consoles, including X-Box, Nintendo Dolphin and the upcoming GameBoy Advanced.
