Twisted Metal: Small Brawl released

  SCEA has announced today the exclusive release of Twisted Metal: Small Brawl for the PSX. Developed by the same crew of TM1, TM2, and TMB, Incog Inc.ís sixth installment in their Twisted Metal series is expected to deliver the same incredible gameplay and bring a new look to the Playstation. The Twisted Metal series has done extremely well in its career by selling more than 5 million units in North America, making it the best-selling car combat series ever.

   "We are delighted that the imaginative minds of the original Twisted Metal team have created Twisted Metal: Small Brawl for PS one," said Ami Blaire, director, product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. "Twisted Metal: Small Brawl follows in the footsteps of the Twisted Metal series as it continues to raise the standard of car combat. This latest release reaffirms our commitment to the original platform, as we continue to increase the software library and bring key franchises to the PS one."

   Bringing a whole new feel to the TM series, TMSB has players navigate recklessly through environments such as an abandoned movie theater, bowling alley, sand box, kitchen and anywhere else they can wreak havoc. The game is centered on a group of little terrors that have seized control of a number of remote control cars, showcasing 16 unique vehicles with special moves and different handling. TMSB features 11 expansive environments that allow for a completely interactive surrounding.
