The latest Duke Nukem title lands in stores everywhere.
Many Playstation gamers have been waiting for a sequel to the popular shooter Duke Nukem: A Time to Kill, and in answer to this demand, N-Space has given us the latest in the line of the Duke's adventures, which is entitled Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes. The game separates itself from its predecessor by way of introducing countless new enemies, weapons, and environments. Martin Currie, the director of marketing for Infogrames (the game's publisher) had this comment about the long awaited sequel, "Land of the Babes shoots high and scores a true milestone release in the Duke Nukem franchise." He also stated, "It delivers adult, compelling gameplay via all-new features, including an innovative Duke survival system that replaces the typical health system found in all other games within the genre." Duke's latest adventure features fourteen worlds to roam, four training maps, and an additional six multiplayer areas. As Currie stated above, the game also features a new 'ego based' health system, which has Duke's in game actions dictating his health. Apparently the control has also been slightly revised, making actions such as swimming and climbing ladders much easier than in previous installments of the series. The game's MSRP is set at $39.99.
