Study: Chemically, Men Prefer Gaming Over Sex
If you routinely pass on your girl's offer of sex to get to the next save point, you gotta stop doing that. You're giving us all a bad name.
According to Baxy-Z, a recent California University study has revealed that men may actually prefer playing video games over having sex. However, this is only one study and there were only 100 participants, and furthermore, the overall results are contradictory. The study measured their adrenaline levels while playing games and making love and of that 100, 67 showed higher adrenaline levels when blasting away the competition in a game like Gears of War (for the record, they also used Super Mario Galaxy). First, they were asked to play one of five games they hadn't played before, and with no distractions. Then, they were to go have 30 minutes of "quality time" with their partner. The participants were shocked when they saw the adrenaline results, but 82% said they still preferred the sex. So...apparently, the chemical part is betraying them, or something. Either that, or they're not exactly having the best sex of their lives with their current girl, and maybe they're a little nervous for the sake of the study. Just theorizing.
So on a biological level, gaming may stimulate us more than sex...? Is that the point of this study? I'm just wondering if adrenaline is the right target for something like this...
