There was definitely no doubt about it, another Tomb Raider sequel just had to hit the market. But this time Eidos and Core hope to make it a lot better than the first 3 titles. Eidos/Core are pulling out the big guns on Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation with better graphical performance, bigger and better puzzles should make you enjoy TR4 even more.

Graphics were always the issue in Tomb Raider games, Tomb Raider 1 had very good visualitys for a first attempt at the game, the sequel was more of the same but was still very good, and the latest sequel TR3, had some what good graphics, but they still needed to be worked on, well this time TR4 has much better and sharper graphics to offer, than any other Tomb Raider title yet. Laura's skin used to look more blocky than smooth, but all that has changed because the people at Eidos and Core have finally realized a way to make Laura Crofts skin look a lot better and more smoother. The same goes for the scenarios that Laura will be running in, the walls will also look a lot more smoother, and the water will look more realistic.

Eidos/Core have implanted bigger puzzles and better looking tombs for Laura to explore. TR4 features gorgeously designed tombs, and they look far more better than any tomb you have seen in the previous Tomb Raiders. As for the puzzles in TR4, expect them to be a lot more challenging than ever before, and should also be very stimulative as well. Eidos have given Laura different baddies to shoot up, no more shooting animals like bears, bats or wolves, this time you get to kill enemies that belong in tombs (not that bats don't). These are just a few of the baddies you have to shoot, a scorpion, a skeleton with a sword and a shield, a mummy with a spear, an ancient trooper with a spear, and a couple of other enemies.

Although Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation is still at a pretty early stage, the game looks to be coming along very nice, and Eidos hopes to consume players all over again. Look for TR4 sometime in November.
