Scheduled release date:

Eidos is at it again, they failed miserably with both Fighting Force titles and now it looks like them and Mucky Foot are hard at work to make Urban Chaos stand out over Eidos' previous lacking creations. As many of you should know Eidos is the publisher of awesome titles like Fear Effect and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, they currently have one of the biggest videogame franchises Tomb Raider. Now they may be trying to establish something new with Urban Chaos, so is this game worth hyping up see for yourself.

To me the graphics don't look so hot, basically I'm saying that they aren't Metal Gear caliber but more of Fighting Force quality. Fighting Force 2 was an okay looking game that didn't really impress anybody but Urban Chaos may be slightly more than that. Currently the game is at an unknown stage but it is in a playable stage and that sort of explains why the games release date is still to be announced. The character detail is pretty good, D'arci (main character) is solid looking but that's about all that can be said. Knowing that Eidos canned Omikron and Sabateur, we may never see Urban Chaos released as well since Eidos hasn't made it 100% official.

Like I mentioned before the gameplay is a lot like Fighting Force, which specifically explains that it is a beat em' up title. After looking at Gekido (one of the most impressive beat em' ups the PS will see), Urban Chaos looks somewhat old and uninspired, but hey there is much time for change. I wouldn't really speculate about the action, on whether it's linear or not, but as soon as the game gets closer to its release date (if it even gets one) we will update the preview with the release date and more info.
