Scheduled release date:

November 2nd 2000

First Crash received a kart game of his own and that received the title of "best kart-racer". Crash Team Racing was without a doubt the best kart racer on any system, and it looks like history will repeat it self. Crash Bandicoot is being treated to a Mario Party type title called Crash Bash. Crash Bash is being developed by Eurocom and will still be published by Sony. We have a batch of four first screens of Crash Bash in action, check 'em out and read the preview.

As early as the game is, Crash Bash is already looking to being better looking than Mario Party 1 and 2. Mario Party wasn't so hot in the visuals and its gameplay was the main source for its popularity. Crash Bash will be that and more, already striking superior graphics to Mario Party, Crash Bash will awe us just like CTR awed us when it first arrived on the PS. The character detail is quite exquisite, all characters have their distinct qualities and features, Eurocom is doing a good job so far. The environments are lush just like any other Crash game. Tons of vibrant colors surround Crash and his buddies/enemies, the areas will mirror those found in his adventures.

Crash Bash will sport a four player mode so tap in the fun with the multi tap. There will be 28 Multi Player games for you and your friends to duke it out in. They are strictly 4 ways, so you won't find 2 on 2's or 3 on 1's, you will be alone. The story starts out with Uka Uka and Aku Aku arguing over who will win the Crash Bash contest, good or evil. You have eight characters to choose from, and if this game is anything like any other game, we could expect to see some secret characters. The multi player levels are extremely fun, but what I want to know is whether the game will have a deep adventure mode, and if it does I hope you make your way into new areas by walking around in 3D and discovering them.

Eurocom has got the fart in the center, and they have nailed Crash Bandicoot just like Naughty Dog would with the game if they developed it. Like I said, I am pretty confident that this four player title will defeat Mario at his own game,.. damn that little plumber, if I get my hands around his throat ... *ahem* sorry. Umm, expect Crash Bash to be released this November 2000.
