After X-men vs SF which was said to be a horrible conversion I thought it was still pretty good. Now that Capcom has released Marvel vs SF I noticed the game had went through a big improvement. Big enough to make the game good? Hell yeah! Marvel vs SF is so much better than X-men vs SF, no.1 the graphics and framerate has been reduced greatly nearly to none. Unlike X-men vs SF when a double or regular Super Combo occurs the game doesn't begin to lose fps greatly, the fps stays very smooth and crisp. The sound is still as good as ever, all the songs that are in the arcade version are on the PSX version.

The game features over 20 characters including secret ones. All the stages are also in the game. Although Marvel vs SF doesn't have tag-team the game does have a new mode called Cross-Over. Cross-Over is alot like the tag-team code in X-men vs SF, except in the Marvel vs SF you can play either against the AI (artificial intelligence) or a buddy. One more thing you have to fight 24 matches, I'm just saying this because I don't want people to think that there are infinite matches. Another new mode has been implanted in the game it's called Hero Battle, in Hero Battle you get to pick either the Street Fighter group or the Marvel group then fight against each other. The game also supports the Dual Shock very well.
