They've done plenty of World War II shooters in the past (perhaps one too many), but why haven't they tackled the Vietnam war more often? It seems Rebellion and Eidos are doing just that with Shellshock 2: Blood Trails, if we're recognizing the environment correctly. Furthermore, isn't the music a dead giveaway? Believe it or not, this isn't a FPS that's a long ways off; it holds a November 11 release date, which means it'll have to go head-to-head with the likes of Resistance 2 and Call of Duty: World at War. It may not be the best time to release a competing title, but this could be a very different experience, so that kind of variety should be enticing... Stay tuned for more on Blood Trails.
