This year's Call of Duty has the unfortunate distinction of being the follow-up to last year's outstanding Modern Warfare, but all early indications are that Treyarch has stepped up. In fact, a few review sources are claiming that World at War might actually be better than Infinity Ward's 2007 effort. Initially, the fans saw the decision to return to World War II as a step backwards, but Treyarch clearly knew what they were doing. They also knew that if they wanted to compete and live up to the lofty expectations, they needed to make the best WWII shooter ever. Well, they seem to have done just that, and CoD followers should be more than satisfied once again.
