We're anxiously anticipating this pseudo-sequel, because we loved Escape from Butcher Bay back in 2004. If you aren't familiar, the game features a combination of first-person and third-person action elements; it's this blend that made the aforementioned title so much fun. We expect more of the same thing in Assault on Dark Athena, and here's a look at the FPS gameplay. It appears smooth and stable, which is exactly what we would expect from the developers. This could really become one of the best titles of the generation, so pay close attention.
