Moves, Relics, Sub Weapons, and Orbs
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Move Combos:
Move combo's are similar to fighting games. You must press a certain
buttons within a certain ammount of time (usualy 1-2 seconds) in order
to do that attack or move. To learn certain moves, it seems that you must
either preform a attack on that button long enough, execute a certain
attack a certain ammount of times, certain enemies and bosses, time,
and so-forth.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Relics:
Relics are similar to Orbs and Sub-Weapons, to some level. They act as
a special move or increase in a status. Unlike Orbs, Relics take up
MP, but are useful in some situations. For example, some relics are
used as a special attack, and some do things like increase your
maximum speed and heal HP over time. Some Relics can be bought, but
most must be found in the castle.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Orbs:
Similar to the Spell Books of HoTD, Orbs act as a elemental supplement
to the Sub Weapons. When you equip a Elemental Orb, it not only changes
the sub-weapons type, but changes the attack all together. Most orbs are
found by defeating a boss.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Sub-Weapons:
One of the oldest elements of a Castlevania game. Sub-Weapons are used as
a alternative to your normal weapon. Instead of using MP, though, they
use hearts as a form of ammo. At first, you are only limited to 5
different Sub-Weapons (You can unlock the Pimpkin after beating the hidden
characters quest), but as the game progresses, you can unlock Element orbs
to change the type of attack (Meaning that you can have up to 35 different
Sub-Weapon attacks), but the only draw back is that you can only carry
1 sub-weapon at a time.

Sub-Weapon List
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Axe:
One of the most powerful Sub-Weapons in the game. The axd is a heavy
hitting sub-weapon that most enemies have a weakess to. The axe's basic
attack is to launch a axe in front of you and deal heavy damage, somewhat
like a boomerang.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Knife:
The knife may seem small, but it comes in handy with the orbs. The Knife
is somewhat of a weak weapon, but you can throw multiple Knifes at one
time, and it dosn't absorb as much Hearts. The Knife's basic attack is to
be thrown forward and strike the enemy. The strategy to using that
wisely is to throw multiple Knifes at one time.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Holy Water:
Somewhat of a wierd Sub-Weapon. The holy water is somewhat weak without
orbs, but useful if there is a large ammount of enemies coming toward
you. The Holy Water's basic attack is to be thrown on the ground and
rupture into flames, although the reach of that is somewhat short.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Cross:
Very useful Sub-Weapon for protection and against bosses. The cross sub
weapon makes two crosses circle your body (Although you can still take
damage) and damage any enemy that comes near you.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Crystal:
One of the newer Sub-Weapons, although it is somewhat similar to the
Holy Water. It is thrown on the ground and has a delay time of a few
seconds, then it explodes. Useful for large ammounts of enemies, but
needs orb power otherwise.

041. Before You Start
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Here is some basic things you should know before you begin:
-Unlike most castlevania games, you do not level up in this game. You can
only increase your status by HP Max, MP Max, Heart Max, and equipment
and relics. If you are having difficulty with a boss, learn it's weakness
and exploit it, since there is not much you can do to make you stronger.
-Look for Hidden doors and out of camera balcony's. Some rooms have
doors on the balcony, and some have doors that are not on the map. If
you head to a dead-end, look around the room and make sure there is
absolutely no other hidden door. Each section has at least one hidden
door.
-You can only save and recover HP by save points. Open doors have a
blue arrow coming out of them, lock doors have a key on the map, Mini
Boss doors have a skull angel surrounded by blue boss doors have a skull
angel surrounded by red, and save points have blue doors.

In the beginning, you will see a cutscene of Leon running though the

and then you start on your journy. After the cutscene, Rinaldo's cabin
will become a shop

After you are in control of Leon, go to the right and up the hill to reach
the outside of the castle. Keep on going forward to reach the enterance
of the castle.
The door in front of you is locked until the very end of the game. The
left door leads to a tutoral of the controls and the right door heads
to the game's 5 main areas. For now, head to the left and head though the
door.
When inside, the door in front of you is locked and cannot be open until
you beat the tutoral, so head though the right door. The first lession is
the double jump. Press X twice to reach the balcony above. The second
training method is to double jump, but then use the whip (Square Button)
to latch onto the railing of the balcony and pull youself up.
The third is a combat lession. Press the Square button to do a light
attack, and the triangle to do a heavy attack. You can also jump into the
air and Press Triangle to do damage. Once you defeat all 3 skeletons,
head to the next door.
The next section is a bit tricky. You have to latch onto a pole in the
middle of the air with your whip, and while in midair after doing that,
latch onto another one. Try to center yourself with the pole before you
latch onto it. Get to the end to reach the final tutoral.
In the final area, you will learn two things. First of all, wait until
the Golden Knight is glowing Purple and then guard (R1 or R2 Triggers)
to absorb the blow and gain MP from it. Once the MP bar is maxed out,
grab the relic in the middle of the room and activate it (R1 and O
buttons). Run around the knight until he is dead.
After that, head back to the main hall and head to the door on the
other side. Save if you want to and continue. In the next room is
a circular platform with 5 main areas. This is the order:

060. House of Sacred Remains
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Once you enter, go down the stairs, and dispose of the skeletons.
Remember to destroy the pillars with purple light to gain hearts/coins.
Go through the door and walk down the hallway. Here will be a door
directly to the left of Leon. Kill the skeletons and archers. There is
a door on the right side of the room; enter it and jump on the platform.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
This lights up Horizontal #1. Exit the platform room and then the room
you were just in to get back to the hall way. Run away from the screen
(south for those of you who love the compass) and enter the door. Now
you’ll get a taste of the zombies. Defeat them and go through the door
on the south side of the room.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Head west in this hallway, kill the skeletons preventing you from entering
the save point and save. When you exit the save point, go east. Clear
the room of skeletons, then go through the door on the east end. Another
enemy filled room, but you can get the crystal as a subweapon here. The
right balcony has $250, and the left balcony...has more to be desired.
Most people know this as only, “The Jump.” Have Leon face toward the
screen, jump toward the screen, double jump toward the second balcony
and whip your way over. It takes time, but its worth it.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Head through the door on that balcony, kill the bats and avoid the red
skeleton. This room will let you get an MP Max Up. Collect it, then
go through the door on the east. This room has a HP Max Up, as well
as a Serum and a Uncurse Potion on the balconies. After clearing this
room of enemies, the bookcase on the left has circular marks. Run
into it until you are able to run through it. Jump on the platform
to activate Triangular #1.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Head back to the save point (Press Select to bring up the Map).
After you save, go through the west door. In this room, kill the
skeletons and continue through the next westward door. Head to the
west door, kill the enemies, smash the pillar emitting yellow
light and you finally get to change your subweapon to the axe. But
don’t move from that point. Double jump to your left to get $250,
then go to the right balcony and exit through the door up there.
Block/Quick step away from the bats and kill the buckbaird.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Once you enter the door behind the buckbaird, you have to get rid of
some zombies and wolf skeletons. The balconies have $250 each, and then
exit through the west door. Don’t bother to deal with the red skeletons,
they continue to regenerate; continue following the path and kill the
heavy armor (Best strategy is to block their attacks when they turn
purple, then continue the assault. Rinse and repeat) backward when you
see the purple light, and on his third swing double jump.) Both
balconies have again $250 each, so exit through the west door after
collecting them.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
You can collect the Marker Stone 6 in this room; jump on the platform to
activate Triangular #2. Using the map(Select button), navigate your way
back to the save point.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
From the save point, go through the west door, and head south. You are
in a hallway, continue south and clear this room of enemies once more.
Exit through the South door. Another hallway, travel through it and you
end up in another small chapel. Clear the room of enemies. If you head
east, you will end up taking a path back toward the save point. IF you
head west, you will continue into the heart of the House of Sacred Remains.
Go west.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Head east and kill the skeletons and ghost warriors, as well as the
skeleton swordsmen. Head away from the screen (south) and double jump
to either platform to get their prizes(Left=$250, Right=$250). Then go
through the door on the level below, between the balconies. Run through
the hallway, enter the south door and hone your fighting skills. Head west
to face some zombies and skeleton swordsmen. Leave through the south door
to enter another hallway. Once you pass through the door at the end, you
will get your first taste of the Rune Spirit.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
From this room, you have to choices: go out the door on the right side
adjacent to the one you entered from, and end up in a hallway that
connects you back to a room you explored, OR go to the west door (Hint:
Take the west door.) This room(once cleared of enemies) will take you
back toward the save point if you go north, so we’ll head west. Now
you get a visit from the flea men.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Kill them, and follow the path to the only door. This leads to a room
with walls and carpet like monsters moving on the floor. If the carpet
comes under you while you are on the ground, it will delay for a split
second then shoot up spikes.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
They hurt. Explore the room thoroughly to pick up all of the coins.
Two choices: east toward a save point, or south. We’ll head toward
the save point.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Save here (Save point #2), and head east. If desired, you can change
your subweapon to holy water. Another room with the moving carpets; you
know the drill, collect the money while avoiding them. Get all of the
money(in the southwest corner, there is a bag for $1,000 and exit through
the southeast door. Ok, a trap room.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
The spikes here rise from the floor, and you have only one way to go:
toward them. When you see them heading away from you(toward the screen)
head on the path. When they come toward Leon, double jump over them.
Don’t be concerned with the first door you see(the room it leads to
is where you have to place the Yellow Dragon Key), so continue on the
spiked path. Surprise! Another platform which is Horizontal #2.
Using the map, head back to Save Point #2.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Now, head south. Enter the room, kill with no mercy, take the stuff from
the balcony(a potion) and head out,the west door. Continue through the
hallway and you arrive at another spike room. Head toward the screen
(toward the door on the west side facing west) and enter it. Congrats,
you have just completed Horizontal. Now, leave the spike room continuing
to run clockwise, run through that same hallway until you are back at that
room(if you want, enter the other door on the path, it leads to a hallway
which sets you back a little.) Now we go through the south door: this is
the door that was locked by Horizontal, but now you don’t have to worry
about that.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Enter it. Kill the Heavy Armor, enter the door he was guarding, and
dispose of Zombies and a new fiend called the Vassago. The balcony
here has $400, come down and go through the door on the west side.
Kill these fiends, and collect another potion from the balcony. Exit
through the south door. Now you get some R&R with Skeleton bowling!
The Peeping Eye here will drop to the ground, which is when you hit it.
(I’m not sure what happens if you get a strike, if something does
happen, please inform us.) Go through the door they were in front
of, hop on the platform and light up Triangular #3. Now head back
to the second big room(should pass through only three doors; if you
want to, try and battle Spartacus, but he is a tough customer at this
level) and exit through the south door.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Travel through the hallway, and until you reach a room with a big stone
sticking up in the middle. Time for a quick task. When you step on the
stone and it is down completely, you have to get to the top level, face
toward where you entered and start jump whipping your way across it. If
the stone is back to the normal position, then you can’t enter the door.
What’s preventing you from just running by it? Watch the cutscene. So
go to the second level, go to the left side and keep going until you are
through that door facing east. You are officially done with the First
Floor. Continue down the path, change your subweapon to the cross if
you wish, and go down to the basement.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Head north up the path and enter the door. Astral Fighters are the new
addition. Kill them all and you might want to write down the combination
of the girls and goats at the north wall. After that head west. Now you
meet the executioner: don’t be fooled by his size, he’s a push over.
Write down that combo as well. Head west again. If you weren’t
paying attention, hit the statues so that from left to right they are:
goat, girl, goat, girl, girl. Now head through the south door to get
a HP Max Up. Go back to the statue room. Now use this combo: girl,
goat, goat, girl, goat.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Head through the west door. Kill the Poison Zombies and Astral Fighters,
then head north. Meet the Evil Swords. Once you beat the Evil Swords,
continue north, through the hallway. You have just earned the Bloody
Cape. Equip it.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Now, head back to the room with the Executioner (the room with the
combination to the Bloody Cape room) and exit south. This room can be
tricky. Whatever you do, don’t try to jump over the beams. Notice
that there are shields that protect you. You want to use those as
protection when they are heading the way opposite from you. Navigate
your way through the room, using the shields for protection and exit
through the south. Use the save point here(Save Point #3), and notice
the red door with the skulls on it. This denotes a boss room.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
BOSS: Undead Parasite HP:1200 WEAKNESSES: Holy Water, Cross
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
First thing to do, is kill those eyes in the level: there are four. Once
they are destroyed those Soulless will disappear. Then the true boss
shows up in the center. With him, he brings a new wave of Soulless. That
worm like thing, is really just a distraction. He will attack you, but
focus all of your attention on the Parasite.
Using the strong attack string, not only deals damage on him, but
deals some damage to those Soulless who are trying to sneak up on you.
After a while, he will leave that hole, and pop up in another one.
Continue hunting him down until he is finished. Congrats, you have
defeated your first boss!
Pick up the Blue Orb, equip it using L1 and the right analog stick and
you have two choices. You can either step on the purple platform, or
continue exploring. We’ll keep exploring.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Exit through the door you came, and save. Go north through the hallway,
the beam room, and another hallway, then head east at the main room. You
should be aligned with the hallway that leads to the first floor. Exit
through the east door, pass through the hallway, and pass through the
Triangular door.
Follow the path, being wary of the skeleton archers and pass through the
door at the end. Hop on the table and get the White Tiger Key. Now, head
back to the boss room, and exit using the purple gateway. You have just
conquered your first dungeon.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
071. Ghostly Theatre
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
As soon as you enter the theatre, you are confronted by skeletons.
Kill the skeletons, smash the candle stands for some money, and go down
the stairs to exit through the South door. Another hallway, so just walk
through the south door. This brings you to the first puzzle on this
level. But I recommend jumping to the lower level to pick up the Heart
Repair.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
After clearing the skeletons, double jump to the stairs on the left side
of the screen and go back up top. Now we can start the puzzle. There are
skeletons here that shoot beams that block a path. Unfortunately, they
can’t look you in the eye. Have Leon run in the same direction as the
skull, and when the beam stops, block, then Quick Step past the skulls.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Exit through the door. Kill the Buckbaird, change your subweapon to the
Crystal if you want, and exit through the west path. Ghosts and
Skeleton Warriors confront you. Be wary when you kill the Ghosts, they
throw their lantern which can cause some damage that is unneeded. Go
down the stairs, and on the left of the staircase is a potion. After
collecting that, go back up the stairs, but this time go up the left
staircase. Exit through that door.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Curve around the hallway and pass through the door. Another dinosaur
skull room. Before you start, place a marker here, and jump down to
collect a High Potion. Then to go up, jump on the platform right by
the High Potion and whip your way up top after double jumping.
Remember, face the source of the beam and it will dissipate.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Navigate your way to the end, right in front of the door. Now,
instead of going through the door, go left and follow the path, getting
rid of more beams. Take the door at the end of the path (Southeast
corner, facing South on the map). Walk through the hallway, and take
the lone door on the west side. Ghost Soldiers and Skeleton Warriors
await you. After killing them, collect the $400 to the left of the
staircase at its bottom and if you want, change your subweapon to Holy
Water.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Then take that door (facing North on the map). Kill the Spirits and
Zombies, and collect and equip the Aroma Earring, and go back to the
last room. This time, take the West door. Curve through this hallway.
This leads to the second puzzle type here. Boulders fall from the
ceiling onto red targets on the ground and even on the walls.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
But all the red targets are targeting you. The doors are locked and
there are these statues:blue and red. Here’s what we do. First, we
have to destroy the statues, but TAKE OUT THE BLUE ONES! The method
of destroying the statues is getting in position so that the boulders
will hit them instead of you. The blue ones are: on the small ledge
on the west side of the room, on the highest ledge on the west of the
room (right by Ancient Text 2), on the north side whip swing on to the
right ledge for one there, and finally whip swing to the left of that
one for the final one.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Jump down, and exit through the east door. Pick up the Heart Max
Up, and go back to the boulder room. Now dispose of the red ones
(they are all in plain sight), and exit through the south door.
Kill the ghosts and spirits, collect the potion to the left of the
staircase, and exit through the door down there. Kill the Shadow
Wolves and Spirits and exit through the south door. Follow the hallway
to the lone door facing west.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Kill the Axe Armor and Astral Knights, and exit through the south door.
This leads to the Second floor after you kill the Ghosts. Now, after
killing the ghosts, use the Save Point. Then exit through the other
door. Another skeleton room. Drop down to get the mana prism before
beginning, and kill a couple of Hanged Men for good measure before
returning to face the puzzle.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Remember to hold block down while navigating. Don’t let the jumps
intimidate you. Exit through the North door, and collect the Black
Turtle Key. Go back to the skeleton room, jump down, and then climb
back up for an easy way to get back to the beginning of the room.
Save again, and now go back downstairs.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Now, using the map, you have to go all the way back to the marker.
This time, exit through the door facing east, or the door that we
bypassed earlier. Walk through the hallway and now you have to deal
with a Red Ogre and a Cyclops. You can A. kill them, or B. have
fun dodging between them and having them kill each other. Pass
through the door behind them after they are done and collect Map 5.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
There’s no use going in the boss room, because there is no boss yet.
Now go back to the original fork in the road, also known as the
room with the Holy Water. This time we go East. Go to the left
immediately, and collect Marker Stone 7. Kill the enemies and
collect the $400 to the right of the bottom of the staircase.
Then go back upstairs and go right, and through the door there.
Curve through the hallway, and exit through the door at its end.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Only red statues to deal with this time. After destroying those,
exit through the other door(the South door. Kill the wolves preventing
entry to the Save point and save. Now exit through the other door.
Welcome to the spike room. From the door, go left to the first
white spot, and then left again to the whole row of blank spots.
Go to the bottom edge of those spots then double jump and whip to a
hidden balcony.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Go through the door there, and collect the HP Max Up. Then go back
to the spike room, and navigate your way to the exit on the east
wall. Kill the enemies, and collect the $400 to the left of the
bottom of the staircase. To the north wall up top is the Axe
Subweapon, which I recommend for the upcoming boss.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Then, take the door on the south wall. Kill the enemies here, collect
the $400, and exit through the south door. Kill the Zombies and
wolves here, and exit through the door facing south(The door facing
west leads to the room that you need the White Tiger Key for.) This
leads to a hallway, and after passing through the hallway you end up
in a room with Astral Fighters and a Armor Knight. Exit through
the South door.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
This room leads to a hallway which leads to the second floor.
After killing the ghosts, pass through the door. Another spike room.
Go to the blank spot that’s on the left. Double jump and whip your
way up. Jump left until you reach a ledge that has a MP Max Up.
Then go right and whip your way to another ledge. Enter the door
there and get Lucifer’s Sword. Go back down to the blank spot
carefully.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Then navigate your way to the door on the north side of the room.
Kill the Axe Armor and Spirit and exit through the west door. Go
through the hallway and exit through the south door. This is one
of the dark rooms you will encounter in this game.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
No light, just blind faith. Follow each jump as I say it: Jump
onto the first platform, have Leon walk away from the screen and
jump onto another one, continue facing that direction and double
jump onto another one, then double jump to the right. Enter the
door there to get the Brisingamen, and go back to that ledge and
jump off intentionally. This will bring you to the beginning of
the jump. Once again, here are the jumps you will take, step by
step: Jump to the first platform, run left and jump onto the one
there, continue facing that way and jump again, face away from the
screen and jump onto the platform there, then jump to the platform on
the left, have Leon run right and double jump onto the platform in
the corner, have Leon run down and double jump onto the other platform.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Enter the door here, and collect the Curtain Time Bell and go back
to the platform. Now, reverse the directions you were just given to
get back to the door.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Now, once you are back in the hallway, exit through the west door.
Kill the Buckbairds and Axe Armor, and exit through the South door.
Kill the Skeletons so you can enter the Save Point. Then, exit through
the door, directly opposite of the Save Point. Here is a puzzle you
will get used to. Flying statues are shooting red beams. If you jump,
then you will collapse to a lower level. Let the beams hit the shields
before you try to pass them in the other direction. Exit through the
door at the end of the path, and walk through the hallway.
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
After exiting the hallway, you end up in a huge room. Walk right
from the door, and follow the path to a gap. Jump over the gap to
collect an HP Max Up. Then walk back to the door and jump over the
balcony. Then quickly run through the door. Welcome back to the
room in front of the boss room. Enter the boss room, and walk to the
carpet in front of the stage. Ring the bell three times and enjoy the
cutscene.

Recommended Equipment: Whip Of Alchemy, Meteor Plate, Aroma Earring,
Sacrifical Doll, Lucifer Sword
Every rose has a thorn. This rose doesn’t have a flower. Disguised as
the love of Leon’s life, she takes his emotions and uses them against him.
She has a few attacks:throwing green arrows/pink hearts at him, spinning
into a tornado, being surrounded by hearts and chasing Leon, and summoning
flowers.
The flowers can cause poison if you touch them. After you deal a certain
amount of damage to her, she’ll split into three. Two are illusions.
After more damage being dealt to her, she’ll summon roots from the ground.
The main object is to avoid everything she throws at you. Be careful
of her, stay close, and dodge away when you see her become surrounded in
yellow.
Keep the pressure on her, and it should be over in no time.

091. Glitches
O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O~~O
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Item Duplication and Max Money
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
The item duplication glitch is a useful glitch that not only allows you
to get all items maxed out, but to also get max money. The code was
first discovered by Trevort on the Gamefaqs.com message boards. His post
read:
"I've read about the duplication method in the Pagoda, but I found a way
to duplicate items from the very begining of the game. It is right outside
the very first save room in the Castle Entrance. Stand between the second
and third candles on the red stripe of the carpet (there is a green glow
on the ground also). Face out the window and press start and go into your
items. As the cursor passes over the items it will add one to every item
you have (up to x9). This also works in the @CRAZY mode (up to x5)."
In Step form:
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
1. Go to the first save room of the castle (The one near the warps to
the five main chaimbers) and head to the middle of the Second and
Third candle on the Red carpet area. Then, face the left (toward
the window)
2. While like that, Press start to enter the main screen and enter
the items menu. If the glitch worked, when you press down on the
D-pad, you will gain a additional item of whatever is in the first
slot. Keep scrolling up and down until you have it maxed out.
You can do this trick as much as you want, and it is a easy way to
gain multiple rare items, and items you can only get one of (like
Sacrefice doll).
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Now, in order to get max money, simply do the above code to duplicate
rare items (Like armor and Diamonds) and sell them at the shop.
If you can't afford those items, simply continually dupe whatever you
have and only sell 8 of the items (So that you have one left) in order
to gain enough money.

Due to the ammount of questions I get, either email or IM, I have decided
to put this up. Due to some of the people out in the world always bugging
me for help, I decided to post what I accept and not.
Email: (Jasonkhowell@mailpanda.com)
-You are welcome to ask any questions or send any positive comments to
me, but I warn you, it may be a few days before I email you if you
asked a question that’s already in the guide (Which I have been
getting a lot of.)
-Mailbox flooding, threats, flames, and negative comment senders will
be blocked and deleted, and may be reported based on the seriousness
of the threat. Mailbox flooding is basically sending the same email in
several minutes which some people have done. Just send one email and
if I don’t reply in 2 days email me again. You don’t have to flood my
email box with junk. Oh yea, if you try to send me a virus to erase
my hard rive, you will fail. I already have a copy of my computer
backed up and im not stupid enough to check a attachment with a
virus program before I read it
IM (AOL Instant messaging or Yahoo IM jasonchhowell96, YIM is same
as email)
-This is something that has bothered me. I have IM open to questions, BUT,
many people who have IMed me questions have either repeatedly ask
questions I have already answered in the guide.
Usually when I say read the guide or help somewhat and don’t answer
back, people get pissed at me and either call me profound names or
repeatedly IMed me. I will warn you now, Harass me on IM and you
will be blocked, and since I rarely add people who ask me questions
on my buddy list, it will be permanent.
That’s all I ask...and people, please don’t be stupid.
