FFX International released in Japan

SquareSoft has recently announced that Final Fantasy X International for the PS2 is now available on the Japanese market. The game allows players to switch between English and Japanese subtitles, as the voice acting is done completely in English. Also, the menu in the game can be be changed between languages, making the game a very wise investment for those looking to import a copy. Special features include a bonus DVD called Other Side of the Final Fantasy 2, which contains the epilogue "Final Fantasy X: Another Story" taking place two years after the game's ending (in Japanese voices and subtitles), interviews with voice actors, music video clip of the theme song, and new footage of SquareSoft's Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XI, and Square Masterpieces.

Extra features also included in the game are a new Sphere board, additional boss battles, and minor tweaks in game balance. Final Fantasy X International for the PS2 is currently available in Japan, but there has been no word yet on a North American release. PSX Extreme will keep you updated.
