Ubi Soft obtains Davis Cup license

Ubi Soft Entertainment has announced today that it has come to an agreement with the International Tennis Federation to develop and publish games based on the Davis Cup international team tennis competition. The first game under this agreement is scheduled for release in May, as Ubi Soft will be creating titles for the PC and console platforms.

"The Davis Cup is the largest annual international team competition in sports, adding another strong, recognizable brand to our growing list of sports titles," said Alain Corre, Ubi Soft's managing director for the European, Asia-Pacific, and South American zones. "The Davis Cup titles will allow us to offer players the opportunity to fully experience the emotions of the tennis court through the embodiment of their favorite teams."
