Rubu Tribe gets trashed
As reported today, THQ and Outrage have collaborated a license of acquisition. Due to this fact, the previous Outrage/Interplay game, Rubu Tribe, has been officially cancelled. Interplay was no longer able to fund the project and decided to release it from development. Rubu Tribe was offered to numerous other publications, however, no interest was taken and the overall result was inevitable.
"Rubu Tribe has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and encouragement during the development of the product. Although we've had to cancel Rubu Tribe, the Outrage teams are already hard at work on several other projects that will be announced soon."
On the upside, Outrage is developing a 3D action game for THQ, which will be announced this May at E3. Stay tuned to PSX Extreme for further coverage.
