Lethal Skies receives official release date
Sammy Entertainment announced today the official release date for its air combat title, Lethal Skies, on the PS2. The game will be shipped to retailers May 17, 2002, and will include the rare F-25 experimental aircraft within the game. Players can choose among some of the most advanced fighters in the world, including such air vehicles as F-15s, F-16s and F/A-18s, as well as advanced fighters like the F-25 that can be unlocked throughout the title. Combining realistic visuals, explosive action, and intuitive gameplay, Lethal Skies provides a story that will capture your attention, while showcasing excellent technical elements.
Players assume the role of an expert jet pilot whose mission is to save civilation. As you progress through the game, promoting your air combat vehicle, eventually the heralded F-25 comes into play. This jet has extreme performance capabilities, including stealth, enhanced maneuverability, and evasive weaponry such as Chaffs and Flares, giving any fleet flying the craft unprecedented kill ratios. Sammy Entertainment has paid close attention to detail in this game and hopes that Lethal Skies will allow players to get a true sense of what flight simulation should be like.
