Madden 2003 receives new audio engine

Adding to the recent news of Al Michaels joining John Madden for the commentary on Madden 2003, Electronic Arts has announced that the game will also be including a brand new audio engine for the game. The engine is set to debut when the game is shown at E3 and is designed to allow for a new level of realism in sports commentary. The game is set to feature much more situational commentary, as well as strategy and analysis of the player's choices. However, the main focus is to make the commentators sound as if they are playing off one another more.

Madden 2003 is scheduled for release on the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube before the upcoming NFL season.
