Printer for PS2.

  Along with the Cybershot cameras came the Poppeg printer from Sony. Expected for a November release the Popegg is a printer that can be used with the PS2 via USB ports, it can print out standard post-cards and pictures taken from the Cybershot with the PrintFan software enclosed. The dimensions and features of the Popegg are:

Dimensions: 280mm x 190mm x 180mm
Print Method: ink jet printer 
Print Resolution: 360 x 360 dpi 
Paper Size: A6, postcard size 
Buffer Memory: approximately 1.5MB 
Interface: USB
Ink: CMYK Color 
Power: AC 100V 50Hz/60Hz 
Weight: approx 2.1kg 

  Companies like UEP Systems, Sun Soft, Imagineer and Atlus are already behind this new operation with games like, Might and Magic and Primal Image in the words to make use of the the Japanese gadget. The printer will include:

PrintFan Software
USB Cable,
Colored Paper
Ink Cartridge
Test Sheets
AC Cable

  Popegg will retail for about 15,000 yen in Japan roughly $140 in the US. No word has been commented when a US release for either Cybersot or Popegg are.
