E3 2002: Sega Soccer Slam announced

  Sega has made the announcement that their GameCube soccer title, Sega Soccer Slam, is headed over to the PS2, as well as the Xbox. The ported versions will feature three new secret teams, enhanced visuals to accommodate each platform, enhanced arcade mode, new challenge mode, and two new minigames. the Developed by Black Box Games, Sega Soccer Slam is an over the top arcade soccer title that enthusiasts of Midway's NFL Blitz, Hitz and Jam titles should enjoy a lot.

   "The announcement of Sega Soccer Slam for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 demonstrates Sega's commitment to delivering its original content to new users across all video game platforms," said Tom Nichols, Sega's director of sports marketing. The PS2 and Xbox release of SSS are scheduled for this Fall.
