E3 2002: Shinobi impressions
After picking up the controller for Shinobi at Sega's booth, I was taken into a one stage demo full of enemies and whatnot. The stage pretty much gave me an idea of how the game plays. To say the least, the action was a total blast. Navigating Shinobi around the screen was a breeze. I was able to warp, double jump, double jump and warp subsequently, perform aerial attacks and other cool maneuvers. The game was speedy, so the pace was quick and kept everything flowing. Naturally, these impressions have to be kept brief, because of the limited demo. But those who are aching to know how the game turned out, and want it summed up in one word: "great".
