E3 2002: Bounty Hunter impressions

Of course, many of you should by now know of the Jango Fett game that is being developed for the PS2, called Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. The game demo displayed played well, but had a very loose and flimsy camera. It became quite a pain to play the game, as motion sickness was slowly beginning to come over me. Obviously, the camera will be fixed and touched upon, as the game was only shown in its alpha form, and not even pre-beta. The action was pretty cool. Jango had a bunch of nice weapons at his disposal, just as two hand guns, grenades, and a few more havoc causing pieces of artillery.

Visually, Bounty Hunter looks wonderful. Jango himself is composed of a great amount polygons, is treated to nice textures and doesn't seem to have a hint of aliasing issues. The overall image was pretty sharp, and showed what Lucas was capable of achieving on the PS2. If the camera and the controls are touched up, I suggest looking forward to Bounty Hunter, it could be a pleasing action game.
