Memory Stick now compatible with the PS2
Sony has announced today in Tokyo a new Memory Stick Duo, which was held at the Memory Stick Forum. The new Memory Stick will be compatible with the PlayStation 2 Japanese broadband service, states PC Watch, a Japanese publication. Real Player and Jukebox have been hinted as possibilities with the PS2, although no official statement has been given. Memory Stick Duo is planned for use with Docomo's i-Mode cellular phones. Scheduled for a July release in Japan, the memory stick will also be available to use on computers and electronic appliances from manufacturers like Sotec and Samsung.
