Sierra signs with Super Happy Fun Fun
Sierra Entertainment announced today that they have signed an agreement with Super Happy Fun Fun to develop a game for several game consoles in 2004. We don't have very specific details, but the company's name grabbed our attention and apparently it did for you, too. Software titles that Super Happy Fun Fun has been involved with in some way or another includes Road Blasters, Pit Fighter, Klax, Dark Castle, Earth and Beyond, Deus Ex, Daikatana, Area 51 and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.
"We are building a profitable development studio based on our unique experience in the industry and our ability to attract and hold talent," said Mark Stephen Pierce, CEO of Super Happy Fun Fun. "Our goals are simply to create new, innovative properties that appeal to the broadest audiences. We are very excited about our partnership with Sierra Entertainment and the larger Vivendi Universal Games family and look forward to working with them to establish a great new franchise."
"Sierra has a long history of developing games with original content," said Mike Ryder, President of Sierra Entertainment. "As we extend that expertise into the console business, we're excited to be teaming up with a developer that has similar goals and extensive experience in developing great games."
