Stuntman Ships for PS2
Infogrames announced today the release of Stuntman for the Playstation 2. The game has officially shipped to retailers and should be available. Developed by Reflections (the company responsible for Driver), Stuntman allows players to perform outrageous stunts in a Hollywood format, along with their own Stunt Arena crashes that can be customized. You have objectives to complete in each level and you get paid a certain amount of money depending on your achievements. The game appears to be very addicting and presents very realistic elements, especially concerning the physics of driving.
"Combining precision driving skills with the excitement of Hollywood action, 'Stuntman' puts a whole new spin on the driving genre," said Jean-Philippe Agati, senior vice president and general manager of Infogrames' Los Angeles studio. "Working with record-holding stunt man Vic Armstrong, we've created white-knuckled, death-defying stunts representative of one of the coolest jobs out there. The Reflections team has implemented the most advanced physics and damage models ever in video games. The end result is something totally unique and completely fun."
