WWII title in the works by LucasArts
It has recently been learned that LucasArts will be creating a World War II aerial combat game with the help of Peter Hirschmann, former creator and producer of the Medal of Honor series. The title is being designed by Lawrence Holland, president of Totally Games, and is currently unnamed. Apparently, the game will be inspired by games Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe and Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain.
Players can engage themselves in air-to-air and air-to-ground battles, while choosing from a number of fighter pilots. The game is story driven and covers numerous locations across Europe. It is your task to confront military enemies in very difficult missions, as these procedures of war are vital to the game.
LucasArts' title is scheduled for a 2003 release date, so we will continue to cover this game.
