Crank the Weasel crawls onto PS2

Presenting a similar feel to Conker's Bad Fur Day, Midway has officially announced Crank the Weasel for the Playstation 2. The title is a platform game with a unique art design resembling the 1940's cartoon Tex Avery. Players take the role of Crank, a thieving weasel that hopes to make it to Paradise Island by any means possible. The deceptive creature will make his journey by way of zeppelin and will collect numerous items to make money on. By what we've seen, Crank will even go as far as stealing refrigerators to pocket a big payday at the pawnshops. Apparently, the weasel will disguise himself and walk through villages looking for his target. Also, not only is Crank extremely sneaky, he appears to be pretty touchy-feely with the women, especially the booty.

Crank the Weasel is expected to be released sometime in 2003. We'll have more details as they become available.
