Grandia Xtreme goes gold

Enix America announced today that the anticipated RPG Grandia Xtreme has gone gold. The game has completed the necessary development processes and will be hitting store shelves at the end of this month. Grandia Xtreme is not a true sequel in the Grandia series; however, it has combined many elements of the first two games that have made the series as popular as it is. A new story and characters are among the improvements, while providing nice graphics and stellar gameplay.

"Our Partnership with Game Arts delivered what we feel is the ultimate Grandia experience and we're confident that fans both new and old will agree, "said Paul Handelman, president of Enix America. "Grandia Xtreme is a worthy addition to Enix's library of high-quality RPG such as Dragon Warrior and Star Ocean".
