Namco and Criterion sign agreement

Namco and Criterion Studios announced yesterday that they have signed an agreement to use RenderWare Platform and RenderWare Studio from Namco for two unnamed titles to be developed in 2003 and 2004.

Brian Leake, Technical Director of R&D, comments, "With this being Namco's first venture into the use of Middleware technology, we chose RenderWare because of its established product line and Criterion's dedication to supporting these tools." Andy Price, Criterion's VP of North America, says, "This agreement reinforces our commitment to delivering the best, high-performance tools for development houses. Having a top tier developer like Namco partner with us shows why our products are the best in the industry."
