Crash Bandicoot reaches PS2ís Greatest Hits

  Universal Interactive announced today that Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex has reached Greatest Hits status on the Playstation 2. This means the game has sold more than 500,000 units in North America, and now has a retail price of $29.99. Wrath of Cortex is the 16th game to be added to the Greatest Hits titles, as the full compilation is as follows:

  • ATV Off-Road Fury (Sony Computer Entertainment America) 
  • Dark Cloud (SCEA) 
  • Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (SCEA) 
  • Twisted Metal: Black (SCEA) 
  • Hot Shots Golf 3 (SCEA) 
  • Midnight Club: Street Racing (Rockstar Games) 
  • Smuggler's Run (Rockstar Games) 
  • Red Faction (THQ) 
  • Devil May Cry (Capcom) 
  • Onimusha: Warlords (Capcom) 
  • Resident Evil - Code: Veronica X (Capcom) 
  • Star Wars: Starfighter (LucasArts) 
  • Tekken Tag Tournament (Namco) 
  • Ridge Racer 5 (Namco) 
  • NBA Street (Electronic Arts) 

  "We are very pleased that Crash's first outing on a next-generation game console was well received by consumers," said Nicholas Longano, general manager of Universal Interactive. "Now the 'Greatest Hits' label will invite a larger number of casual gamers to enjoy this action-packed game and become fans of Crash Bandicoot."
