Hitman 2 commercial banned

Eidos announced today that their massive campaign to promote Hitman 2: Silent Assassin has been banned by numerous major networks. The channels opting to pass on the advertising campaign are VH-1, MTV, MTV 2, TNN, UPN, ABC Sports, Comedy Central, Sci-fi, and USA. Apparently, the original commercial intended to air did not coincide with the channels desires and they listed these reasons for their choice: "Glorifies Violence", "strong violence depicted", "over the top sexual content", "the game looked a little too realistic and that people might not know that it was just a game."

Kjell Vistad noted, "In an effort to support the games strong momentum, and continue to bring Hitman 2 to the people, we've tapped into the games epic "orchestral score" and made a brand new Hitman 2 commercial that has been approved by almost all of the networks. Unfortunately, ABC still declined to have anything to do with Hitman."
