BAM! stops development
BAM! Entertainment announced today it will close down its London-based development studio and solely focus on publishing starting immediately. Apparently, BAM! will sell its development studio's assets to VIS Entertainment, as part of a 70% reduction in staff at its England office. VIS is responsible for such games as State of Emergency and will now be involved in many more projects. Also, staff in San Jose for BAM! has been cut by 25% and the company has "terminated the development of additional non-core products." Itís not quite clear what those products are, but we will keep you updated.
