Vice City leads to Take-Two profits
Take-Two Interactive reported recently that the company's fourth quarter profits have strongly increased mainly due to the selling giant Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The company posted a net profit of $22.3 million (54 cents per share), compared with $4.7 million (13 cents per share) a year earlier. Executives are projecting sales of $950 million and earnings per share of $2.20 for fiscal 2003, based on Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City sales.
For 2003, Rockstar has five titles scheduled for release, including sequels to Max Payne, State of Emergency and Grand Theft Auto. The company will also be releasing The Warriors and an unannounced game titled Project Manhunt. Stay tuned for more information.
