Titus hoping to sell Interplay
Titus announced recently plans to sell Interplay, its subsidiary received August 2001. Although Interplay isn't involved in anything too exciting currently, Titus is still looking to turn a profit. In the French business newspaper Les Echos, Titus CEO Hervé Caen recently said, "Our priority is to sell Interplay for a good return."
Interplay's Shiny studio was sold to Infogrames early last year for $47 million, which was helpful for Titus. Interplay's biggest recent game is Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, as it has already been shipped for the PS2 and proved quite successful.
