Getaway marketing campaign

   Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today a multi-million dollar marketing campaign for The Getaway. The areas of promotion include national broadcast, print media, promotional partners, and retail. As most people know, The Getaway is a free-roaming, mission-based, 3D action game set in London. The game features 40 square kilometers of recreated London, with blocks and street corners depicting extreme detail.

 

   "The Getaway is pushing the envelope as one of the most ambitious titles ever developed on PlayStation 2," said Ami Blaire, director, product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "As one of the most anticipated titles to come out in 2003, The Getaway is receiving widespread marketing support to generate consumer awareness for this groundbreaking release."
