Rage Software announces departure
A recent BBC article is reporting that Rage Software is officially departing the game development scene, as 85 employees and several upcoming games will be sold off to the highest bidder. These financial figures will help support those that stuck with the company.
According to Hunter Kelly of receivers Ernst and Young, “The company has got some exciting new games in progress, including exclusive licenses with Lamborghini, Andy McNab and a follow-up to the successful Rocky game. We are intending to sell either individual design facilities or the intellectual property rights and given the quality of these assets and the interest already shown, we are looking for an early sale."
