Peter Moore moves on to Microsoft

Microsoft Corporation announced today the signing of Peter Moore, the former Sega of America president. Previously, there was no reason to explain Moore’s departure; however, now it has been made perfectly clear.

Moore will now serve as vice president of retail sales and marketing for the Washington-based Microsoft Corporation. He will head the Home and Entertainment Division, which is responsible for Xbox and Microsoft PC games. Also, it has been announced that Moore will oversee all software and hardware retail sales in both Japan and Europe.

"I am excited to be joining Microsoft at a time when the company's drive toward innovation and creativity is at the forefront of its retail and in-home strategy," says Moore.
