Mad Catz releases 3rd quarter results

Mad Catz has officially released its third quarter earnings for the fiscal year of 2002-2003. Although the company lost its license to manufacture PS2 memory cards, it is still reporting rather impressive profit gains. Net sales were $9.6 million, up almost $2 million from last year, with net income rising 92 percent to $2.6 million. An impressive 22 percent increase was seen in the U.S., along with an amazing 150 percent jump in Canada.

"Looking back at our accomplishments during the quarter and over the last nine months," said Morris Perlis, President and CEO of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc, "we are extremely pleased with our operational and financial improvements."
