All Star Baseball 2004 set to ship this weekend
Acclaim announced yesterday that All Star Baseball 2004, featuring Derek Jeter, is set to ship this weekend. Developed by Acclaim's Austin Studio, All Star Baseball 2004 is quite an ambitious title, featuring a reported 80 new features, including online downloadable rosters, as well as Spanish play-by-play and the official Negro Leagues license. In addition to these impressive features, this year's installment in the series will also include the following features:
- Over 50 playable teams
- 75 different stadiums, each complete with active dug-outs and massive 'jumbotron' screens.
- 9 new gameplay modes, including the ability to relive and change the more memorable portions of the 2002 season
- Over 1,00 different players from both the past and the present.
