Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Coming in August

Ubi Soft Entertainment announced today the release date for its upcoming martial arts title Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The game will be released this August and is console exclusive to the PS2, as a GBA version will be released the same month. Developed by Genki, CTHD is set in 19th Century China and utilizes numerous aspects from the motion picture. There are four different characters available and they include Li Mu Bai, Yu Shu Lien, Jen Yu, or Lo. With different martial arts and fighting techniques, the game looks to be quite promising.

"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is one of the most innovative and exciting movies in years, and we've dedicated ourselves to capturing the incredible look and feel that made the film such an amazing hit," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubi Soft Entertainment. "With compelling characters, action-packed fighting sequences and stunning environments, the game will feature the martial arts magic of this classic film."
