Guilty Gear XX Reload Hits Arcades

Sammy announced today that Guilty Gear XX Reload has been released to arcades in Japan. There have been very few gameplay changes made to the game; however, Sammy has introduced a new version of the character Robo-Ky. In GGXXR, Robo-Ky's moves consist of rocket attacks, laser shots, and mechanical maneuvers. Also, he now has an electricity meter instead of the previous power gauge. Although this new meter functions similarly to the power gauge, it does not fill with every attack. Instead, Robo-Ky must stand on an electricity field he created on the ground to refill the meter.

Along with this, Robo-Ky will heat up after attacking his opponents, considering how he is a robot. Robo-Ky will eventually turn red and explode, allowing the opponent an opportunity for a cheap attack. The only way to cool down Robo-Ky is by executing a move that releases steam through his turbines.
