Ken Kutaragi Appointed Deputy President of Sony

Sony Computer Entertainment announced today that it has appointed Ken Kutaragi as the new executive deputy president of Sony. Kutaragi was previously the executive chief of Sony, but starting on April 1 he will officially be changing positions. Accordingly, Sony will operate under a new company structure, which consists of four network companies and three business groups. Kutaragi will be responsible for the broadband network company and the game business group. The broadband network company is concentrated on the connection between game consoles and general electronics, and the game business group is centered on advancing games toward broadband.
