Sony Promotes Glenn Nash
Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today that Glenn Nash has been promoted to vice president of supply chain and service. Nash's previous experience includes a role in the company's supply chain for the 2000 launch of the Playstation. He will now be responsible for the company's supply chain, which includes domestic distribution, warehousing, inventory management, import/export, and production planning. Nash will also work with hardware functions, including consumer repair operations, development tool service, returned goods processing, and hardware support.
"Glenn has successfully managed the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 supply chain channel to meet business objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction," said Steve Ross, senior vice president, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "His long history working in the retail sector, coupled with his management experience gained while working on the PlayStation business, will be invaluable to the company as we continue to expand our position as industry leader."
